Name: Stas Grigori Physical Information: Race - Mixed Blood(Half-Vantha) Birthday & Age - 54th of Fall, 482 A.V.(28) Gender - Male Physical Description: Stas has somewhat of a gaunt, sunken face that was framed by shoulder length dark brown-black hair. Fairly pale and with balanced features, save for his large nose and deep set eyes, he had the kind of face you’d always expect to be smirking. The eyes were a clear, light crystal blue that shifted to a more murky blue-gray shade with time and emotion. He had something of a light frame, standing at six feet and one inch with a sleek figure that weighed in at one-hundred and sixty-three pounds. Personality - Extreme hallucinations of flames and fire born from intense, swirling fear and fascination with it. Very skeptical and doubting of, pretty much everything. Fairly well organised, but lacks aptitude for future planning and is far more of a ‘in the now’ person. He was amiable, but lacked very diverse social skills, and very comfortable in his own company, all of which meant that he wasn’t an intentionally mean or rude person, but did not seek friends and had very rough handling except for when it came to making his case. He basically did as he liked, and was pleased to do so. Ethics - Stas was something on the loose side, when it came to morality. He took to being paid to do what few others would do, because he was badly equipped for anything else and was willing to have bloody hands in exchange for a bag full of miza. Or so he thought. Basically, he was a live and let live as long they didn’t stop him from getting his way sort of person. Likes - Obsessed with writing, the different styles of it, different quills and pens, writing papers, and with making his own lettering perfect. He had a liking for pate, especially the rare snow leopard liver pate. Dislikes - His bloody confusing hallucinations of fire, bent pages in books or writing pages, a dirty work environment. Character History: Pre-Creation - Stas lived with and learned from his tutor from the time he was fourteen. His teacher left him when Stas turned twenty-five, and for the last three years he has been alone. Studying, surviving, selling the odd writing or poem styled in calligraphy he made his way without his teacher. He did not have any great natural talent for magic, but he felt he had a capacity for deliberate, determined practice. It took him years of it, under a taskmaster who liked to put subtle and hidden consequences out for overt or bad uses of the wind. For that matter, it took him a month of pestering, bothering and simply insisting and pleading his desire and intent to his teacher to be accepted. His teacher was an old hat in Avanthal, known for his ridiculously complicated ice carvings. Stas was fortunate in that sense, for this made his teacher somewhat well off, and equipped with a home large enough to move into.
