Description: To many of the Inarta the Lookout is considered just a famous stone spire, while to outsiders the spire is closer to a small thin mountain. The Lookout is a stone spire at the beginning of Sanikas Pass, and provides a perfect vantage point to see incoming travelers, as well as, storm fronts from the bay. For those that are scheduled to provide watch, a small stone enclosure has been crafted from an original stone cave. The Inarta team flies to the Lookout and lands on a small landing strip, a rough hewn path for eagles and a stair case brings the rider to the enclosure. The Enclosure has a smooth stone pathway around the top of the spire; so that Endals can walk around the spire and check various directions. Inside the enclosure, the eagle and rider walk up a few steps to a stone doorway. As they open the door, the team finds themselves in a large common room, in its center is a circular fire place surrounded by Stone benches and bedding for both the rider and eagle. Iron cookware, as well as, a water basin hooked up to a cistern provides clean water and a place to cook. Along the common room wall, steps lead up to windows that have metal shutters on them. The windows help air out the common room and also allows the rider the ability to watch for storm breaks during bad weather. Upon the southern side of the room a spiral stone case goes up to the top of the Lookout peak. The staircase leads to a large metal bell, that a rider can strike to sound alarm. The stone face opposite of the bell holds a hundreds of paintings and jokes about how such a thing was carried to the top of the Lookout. It is said that if it’s the Endals first time being the watchrider, he or she is to paint or write something on the stone for good luck. Most of the time the duty is boring, the eagle does the hunting while the rider keeps watch. If a rider should see a storm coming off the sea, he or she is to run up to the bell and strike it till they see the temporary population of Thunder Bay go for shelter. If they should see a caravan in trouble they hit the bell four times in quick succession. Alerting nearby Riders to seek out the caravan and get them to cover. Mod Note:
