Mercer's slim nose lies centred on his high cheekbone'd, diamond-shaped face, serving both as a vital tool of respiration as well as accentuating the strong jaw and equally built chin that composed the rest of his face. His calmly frigid eyes take on a noticeable icy hue, nearly perpetually half-lidded in either an apathetic tone or a thoughtful one; both are equally as common on his fair-skinned visage. Slight yet firm lips take on a naturally light pink hue, and somewhat rounded; his bottom lip is rounded as is quite common among people, his top lip features the curve to turn it into that classic cupid's bow shape. His sandy blonde hair takes on a slightly messy yet complimentary shape. His eyebrows, allowed to grow naturally, are slightly thick and rather drab normal for a man.
The Svefra stands at a somewhat tall height of six feet, three inches. His trained, mesomorph frame is covered in slightly bulky muscle, his rough and calloused hands and somewhat weathered skin hinting at the labor one had to go through to gain such a physique. Long, thick arms set on broad shoulders lead to long and stronger-than-they-look fingers. His chest could be labeled barrel-like in nature, as big and strong as his mother told him he could get. His waist, however, narrows to a rather normal ratio, giving his upper-body that 'V' all (only some, really) men drudged for.
Marked wise, he only carries a few inked mementos of the past. One takes the form of slithering black snakes, staining his arms with their dark luminescence. The serpents curl around his wrists and up his forearms, only to continue up his slightly bulging biceps and over his shoulder, then down his back, muscular buttocks, and then reverting back to circle around his thighs and calves, ending by circling his ankles. On his back between his shoulder blades lie a pair of bull-like horns, attesting to his vitality and general liveliness; strong as a bull, one could say.

Calm Above all else, Mercer is calm as a peaceful tide. While his last name leads many to believing the opposite of him, Mercer simply never allows himself to grow angry in any aspect. Yes, there are still things that can irk him to no end, but that would never show in his actions nor his words; it simply washes off of him and he'll go about his day, or perhaps solve this problem with a clear-headed'ness many might desire.
Friendly Mercer's a social-dolphin through and through. He loves meeting new people as well as creating lasting friendships, and mostly abhors enemies as they take up too much of his energy. Young Stormhand's friendly in a way that he'd do favors for many-a-people, and sometimes complete strangers, and not require a thing for them; an act of kindness requires no payment and all. He does, however, frequently urge his companions to do the same, as he believes the world can be a much better place if people were kinder.

History
Mercer was born to a rather normal Svefran couple that lived in the Suvan Sea near Riverfall. His father was a (mostly) retired 'rogue pirate' sort, while his mother, a Lia, was a healer for her pod. He was raised in and near Riverfall, and given his father's old casinor when he came around that age when he wanted to strike out on his own, though he chose to stick with his father for a few more years to learn about captaining a ship that crewed more than the captain.
Now, alone and trying to get himself as rich as possible, he lives in Syka (sleeps on his casinor, though).
