Although he wasn't sure why, Kuujin didn't like this newcomer. There was no real rhyme or reason to the feeling, it simply was. Possibly it was something in his scent, the way he tried to handle the goat, or maybe it was simply his voice. In the end, it didn’t matter, and his sneer held. As was with the case with the majority of humans, Kuujin saw him as weak, and saw nothing in the man’s apparent personality that demanded respect or anything of the sort. He might have attacked the man then, but he simply was not hungry, and Iasc’s horrid smell put him even further from his appetite. A small amused grin found its way through the sneer at Iasc’s reaction. Apparently his thoughts were something akin to Kuujin’s. he couldn’t read minds, but could tell well enough what he was thinking from the way his hand gripped even tighter at that damned bow. If the Iasc did shoot klyf...Klyph… Whatever the man had called himself, or even the goat, Kuujin might just end up eating after all. It’d depend on how close Iasc was. He wasn’t sure if he could stomach a meal with him sitting close. Come to think of it, what in the world was causing that smell? Kuujin found himself staring idly at the man nearest himself, looking as though he was deep in thought. Certainly it couldn’t just be a lack of bathing… He’d seen dirty humans before, lots of them in fact. Hell, most humans were rather dirty, but they rarely smelled quite as badly as he did. He looked somewhat bloody and ruffled, but still… As he stood there, now not paying attention to the goat-herder, his mind wondered about things that could cause smells like that. Interestingly, to anyone who wasn’t familiar with Kelvics or their animal natures might question why the huge man seemed to not mind the fact that he was at least an hours walk from civilization and completely nude, and not seeming to be bothered by it, or the cold weather. |
