Gender: Female.
Birthday: 19, Spring, 597.

Appearance: Rena is a Tom boy walking round in Shirt, Britches and boots. Sun kissed skin covers her body from the top of her short brown head of hair to her toes. Her face seems plain at first glance and thus many people miss her piercing brown eyes.

Character Concept

Works with her father as a merchant. While trading in Endrykas he fell in love and has embraced the culture of the Drykas. It is now up to Rena to decide to follow his example or live a seperate life in Riverfall.

Character History

Rena was raised by both of her parents - Thomas and Mary Rain. Thomas worked as a merchant trading in all manner of goods. Sometimes Thomas would travel, by boat or land, exporting goods to other cities.

During these trips Rena would stay in Riverfall with her mother awaiting her father return. Rena spent the time down on the docks listening to the stories the sailors told of far of cities and riches. Rena dreamed of visiting them with her father.

Not long after rena turned 18 her dream came true and she began working alongside her father. It was on her first journey for trade that her mother had passed due to a fever. The indecent had scared Rena curbing her curiosity and thus she was not with her father when he Visited Endrykas and fell in love with a Drykas female named Dew Heidecraft. Thomas set up home in Endrykas as a supplier of Gemstones.

Rena need to decide whether to embrace her father new life or keep on living her own.

µ Hello! Welcome to Mizahar! µ

A leatherworker sounds fantastic for a horse-centric city like Endrykas. There are just a few tweaks to be made before you get into the swing of things:

1. Birthday: If you’d like Rena to be 21 this season (Spring 517 AV), then her birthday would have to be 19, Spring, 496 AV.

2. Riding Skill: Even though it might seem obvious, please indicate which animal Rena knows how to ride. For example, “Riding: Horse”. In other cities, people might ride wind eagles (in Wind Reach) or myrian tigers (in Taloba), and you wouldn’t be able to switch to a new animal without properly training.

3. Skills: As a full-blooded human (I don’t think either of Rena’s parents were Drykas), you get a full 15 RB (racial bonus) in terms of skill points in any skill of your choosing. Also, this is on top of the 50 SP (starting points) that you can divide up among your skills. Right now you only have 10 RB and 40 SP, so you can add a few more to reach the 15 RB and 50 SP you start with.

4. Lore: The “Lore of Leatherwork” is too broad. Lores are meant to be specific pieces of knowledge rather than an entire skill. Some lores that are more specific and might pertain to leatherworking/tanning might be: “Preparing a hide for tanning”, “Making leather more workable and flexible”, “Basic sewing of leather”, “Using a mold to fashion the right shape”

Once you have made the necessary changes, please PM / Private Message me (using the envelope button) and I'll remove this intervention. I'm also happy to answer any questions you may have.
