"So.. what skills would you offer the Inverted?" the Symenestra asked politely, wrapping her silken scarf around her hand as she waited for a response from the teen who was clearly there as a dare from the gaggle of friends behind him. As he became flustered, not prepared for it to have gone so far, Nathessa stretched her arms forward, letting the purple silk roll off her neck and fully bandage the hand.
She gave a deep sigh. A member of the Inverted had been waiting in the Crooked Playhouse every day this season, letting aspiring performers present themselves in a hope to gain membership in the prestigious group.
While most made a big fuss of it, Nathessa was aware that the whole procedure was for show - almost all who applied were accepted. For a journey like this, they needed as many as they could get. Still, the auditions let those with real potential stand out as someone to watch - and gave those who weren't interested, clearly, a chance to be kicked out before they joined.
"I'm sorry, the Inverted will not be taking you," she finally spoke, her words soft and without any real harshness to them at all. The lad gave a smile of relief and disappeared off the stage, but not before waving the next prospecting Inverted member in.

"Good morning, I hope you are well. Would you mind introducing yourself and letting me know what you hope to do in the Inverted? A demonstration, if applicable, would be perfect," the judge read off as if on a script, keeping her eyes trained on the auditioner.
