This forum is an OOC forum for PCS and Organizations to work out plans in hardcopy. Each PC or Organization gets a single thread where their players can help work out plans for their PC. Quests, mini-sagas, and Trips can all be organized here as well working out timelines and points of travel and things PCs need to do along the way. Each PC however gets only one Plotnote for their individual PC. Groups get one as well. There is no limit on individuals posting saga or trip plotnote threads. The Sesr Family Home

The Sesr's home is a pleasant stone cottage that has majestic views over the city and the scenery. It is a small building constructed in the style of the other homes that are scattered across the Okomo Estate, although Saiyin isn't lucky enough to own a skyglass roof. The house is beautifully shaped with a semi circular room at the front and a rectangular set of rooms at the back of the house.

[4.] The front of the house boasts a pretty windowed kitchen and living area. There is a hearth set against the centre wall so as to warm the centre of the house. A well-used kitchen table is set roughly against one wall, with a singular chair tucked underneath. The kitchen and living room have white painted walls, done years ago by Saiyin's mother. A door, usually left propped open, runs into the hallway.

[2.] At the back is Saiyin's room. Inside is a simple bed and a tiny window. The room is quiet and still, and pretty plain.

[1.] Next door is Saiyin's parents room, left empty since their untimely deaths. The contents of the room were sold several years ago, and now she avoids using it for anything except quiet contemplation, sometimes.

[3.] Opposite the two bedrooms is a larger room that is as bare and unfurnished as the rest of the house. A lonely chest sits underneath a window, but it is clear that Saiyin has plans for the room, as the dust has been cleared and a brightness permeates the space.

[5.] A little door at the end of the hallway leads into the garden. In the garden, the biggest feature is the weeping willow tree that provides welcome shade in the summer. At the end of the garden is a tombstone dedicated to Saiyin's parents, although their bodies are not buried in the garden. There is an empty vegetable plot that has gone untended, although there are no weeds growing in the soil as Saiyin makes sure that these are pruned regularly.

In the house itself, the air is calm and still. Saiyin has little in the way of clutter or furniture as most of it has been given away or sold, but her bedroom is a little slice of comfort that she cherishes. The most prized room though is the kitchen. Here, the young woman spends her time cooking and gazing out at the sea she can just about see in the distance through the window.

Sesr Glassworks


Sesr Glassworks sits nestled on the slopes of Tenten Peak, this location deliberately chosen to place the owner in the centre of Lhavit for easy access to the various institutions that might seek her services.
On first approach the Glassworks looks quite unassuming, with the only eye-catching feature being a brilliant blue door and a small sign on a carefully positioned pole that tells the visitor what shop they are standing in front of. There is one window that allows light into the shopfront and shoppers to peer through into the room from outside. There are paving stones that line the entrance and the owner has planted a young willow tree close to the entrance which will one day provide welcome shade.

Inside is the shop, which is drab but neat. Several shelves line the walls, and rows of plain glassware sit meekly in place on the wooden surfaces. There is a list of prices lying on the counter for those that wish to read them. The room is usually quiet and cool as the walls are thick and made of stone. Thin light filters through the window to alight on the stock. The air usually smells of either burning coal or flowers, dependant on whether the furnace has been running recently or not.

Beyond lies a tiny back room with a few loose items or broken shards of glass, as well as a simple candle sconce to allow a small amount of light into the otherwise windowless room.

Another door leads into the workshop, where the business of glassblowing actually happens. This room is somewhat larger than the shop, and has a window that lies away from the street and offers views of the mountainside rather than out over the rest of the city. There is a large furnace with three separate entrances. The first hatch contains a pool of molten glass which is the basis of Saiyin's work, and the other two entrances to the furnace are used for first re-heating and then allowing glassware to cool slowly so as not to let it shatter.
There is a table with a slab of marble to work the glass upon, and a selection of various tools lie on this surface also.

A simple door leads to the storage room, in which the raw ingredients are kept. Namely coal and sand, each in separate crates. From this room there is a door that leads outside so that Saiyin can easily transport the raw materials in and out without disturbing the rest of the shop.

Personality/History: Hessel is a kindly woman who works in a lowly position by choice in an effort to atone for a previous sin. In her youth, Hessel was a tempestuous young woman living in Ahnatep. She enjoyed it all; luxury, leisure, and the lust of handsome men. It was the latter that brought her trouble when she became pregnant from an illicit relationship with a slave lover. Her lover cared deeply for her, but Hessel wanted to die from the shame. She scorned the man over and over and sold him for pittance at the nearest slave market. Once their child was born she cast it into the river to drown to death.

She thought she didn't care, but as time passed she found herself thinking of the dead child over and over again as she was eaten from within by guilt. The final straw was learning that her old slave lover had gained freedom... and promptly hung himself from grief and despair over his lost love and dead child. The news cut her deeper than she could have ever imagined. Hessel could only do one thing, and that was run. She ran until she was as far away from Ahnatep and the past as she could be. In her arduous journey north she learnt much about herself, and slowly learnt to forgive herself. Now she is mellow, cheerful, and spends her spare time learning new skills. Her past is a scar that is slowly healing, but she rarely talks about it. Hessel is quick to make friends, but slower to form true bonds of friendship.
