The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

A Tale of Talisman's

Shibura sat cross-legged in his home, eyeing the scrap lumber he purchased, it was high time he started using this woodcarving kit and he purchased this lumber to do so, after all, it was necessary to progress his skill in glyphing to learn different mediums to produce glyphing products., Carving, painting, writing. Even reimancy itself once he learned better precision, could all be used, but lumber was inexpensive and it stored magic well.so it would be an excellent starting point, at least that was his reasoning.

He started by grabbing a thick plank of lumber it was an inch thick and a foot wide, the plank of lumber was a hardwood of some description, Slightly dense but perhaps not strong enough to be used for a weapon, it loked to be a pale red in coloration although Shibura was not very knowledgeable about types of wood so he couldnt identify it, just the properties it Displayed by its density and weight and its appearance he Scored the surface of the wood with a knife at 3 inch intervals measures using the edge of one of shorter hand files and he double checked for evenness before proceeding, The wood looked correct separated into four fairly equal sections. Perfection was not possible right now but he managed them to look mostly even at an eyes glace.

“Onto the next step than” he spoke as he hummed to himself starting to whistle a slow tune as he dug through his tools grabbing a serrated hand knife Beginning to saw through the scores he had set, sawing through the wood was rather difficult at first he grabbed the wood tiglty near the area he was sawing to prevent the wood slipping the single piece was freed from the rest of the wood he noticed the edges were very rough he rubbed the side down with a file scouring the irregularities, til he was left with a wooden square 3 inches wide he placed down the completed square and set to work on the others.
