Quailin
Appearance
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Birthday: 1, Fall, 500 AV.
Birthplace: Sunberth
Appearance: A 5'5" lithe lady, modest one-hundred and thirty pounds, with brown eyes, hair, and tanned skin. A simple, unremarkable brown dress is worn. Under most circumstances, a small satchel is carried, carrying one of her kits of tools.
Character Concept
Quailin is a worker, first and foremost. Her affinity for crafts that build and repair is much more than that of others. As per her craft, she is very practical, if not rational. She does accept jest and play, but his duty is to keep the city of freedom from crumbling apart.
Quailin very much loves work. She thrives on the need to help others and is often overworking herself some days. In addition, Frugality is of high value. She will happily simply ask for a jerky strip or hardtack from her clients, as she does not enjoy to carry money. In addition, she distrusts magic and most other races, as anything exotic is something she cannot understand. She most certainly prefers to be the one with more knowledge.
The only thing that she despises is sexuality. She despises brothels, and perverted men even more.
Character History
A slave by birth, Quailin has gone through more or less a normal life, minus unpaid labor and an absent mother and father. She began working from a young age, selling various building materials with other slaves, which included mostly smaller pieces of wood and boxes of nails she would haul around to repair little buildings in Sunberth. Cuts and splinters were common, but none too severe for infection. Thankfully.
At the age of twelve, she had partaken in the repairs after the Massive Djed Storm, spending a lot of time caring for others, and overall silencing the need for a rebellious phase with a more productive one.
Eventually, around the age of eighteen, Quailin was freed from slavery when her master died of old age, in which she found a more charitable man and broke off her collar. She looked for work using what she knew of watching others. Eventually, having enough skill to venture on her own, she began to try to sell her work, rather than beg or be sold into slavery...
