On those islands are platforms that are surrounded by waist-high stone railing that provides a bit of privacy for the clients. Each island has a canopy with roll down blinds. There are couches, an abundance of pillows, and a huge chaise in each island platform. Steps lead to each platform - stone cobbles across the water - and each island is separated by glazing pools between and around them.

The islands - called Zusks - can be rented out for couples seeking a place to come together or a Zusk and a companion can be purchased for a few hours or the entire night. Not wanting to be a glass artist like the rest of her family, she took up painting and portrait art because she loved the shape of the human face and capturing the character of the people she drew. Coming here, she fell in love with the Outpost and found that being a pleasure worker gave her a true sense of satisfaction. She's popular at the Zusks and always makes fantastic tips.

Karisa was born in Avanthal and grew to maturity among the Vantha being half Vantha. She joined the Icewatch early on, bonded to a Kelvic Polar Bear, and had a very successful carrier in the military of Avanthal. However, her Kelvic was killed in a tragic accident saving some stray kids from falling through thin ice one spring and she never really got over it. Leaving Avanthal and all the memories there, Karisa turned to The Outpost and has lived here since, helping others find the happiness she herself can't seem to achieve.
