The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

Dev’Ania took a seat at her desk with her legs crossed and her hair tied up in a bun. Since the end of the trial and investigation, Dev had only been either at her shop, in her apartment. When she went to work, she only would leave in the middle of the rest periods while the city was still quiet and partially empty. Though the trial was over, her heart still ached from the death of her beloved mentor and she wanted to avoid as much contact with other people as possible unless it was for work.

Today was the first day she had worked up the courage to get completely up and dressed without crying. It was time to move forward. And what better way to move forward into a new year, than by making a list of new things to do. Lists always had a way of making Dev happy. They were organized and outlined a plan for her to follow, which, at this point in her life, Dev needed some organization.

She pulled out her ink and quill from her bag that lay leaned against the side of the desk. She placed them on the desk and then took out her notebook. Opening the leatherbound traveler’s notebook, she flipped through it, looking for the next clean sheet of paper. Much to her surprise, the entire notebook was completely full. A year’s worth of writings filled the notebook from the front to the back with no space for more writing. It was time for a new book.

The Konti grumbled as she got up from her seat. She wanted to take the time to write in her notebook, but in order to do that, she needed to go out and buy a new one. She was not ready to go back into the crowded streets of Lhavit yet. As much as she loathed the idea of walking the streets among so many people, she knew that she would have to do it sooner or later, so it was either now are never.

She put on her shoes, brushed her hair, and tried to make herself look presentable as possible. She looked in her mirror repeatedly to make sure looked okay. She tried her hair in a neater bun, but strands kept falling out of place, so she finally was settled with her hair just brushed straight down. It was quick and also had the added benefit of hiding her face. Word spread like a wildfire around the city of Lhavit. Everyone would know of the trial and everyone involved. It was for that reason, she wanted to stay to herself for a little while until everything had settled down.
