Appearance: Finron is slightly below average height for a male Isur, standing around 4 feet and 10 inches, in our terms. Weight-wise, he clocks in at about 180 pounds. Like most Isur, he has a very impressive build. Although he is square and stocky, he is very well-muscled and clearly athletic. His skin is tan, save his left arm, which is black with glistening silver veins - the mark of his clan. Fin has a youthful-looking face and a defined jawline. He has milky brown eyes. His hair is dark brown (almost black) and he takes meticulous care of it; it is cropped very short on the sides, while he leaves about an inch of natural waves on top. He has a prominent scar across his right cheek.
Character Concept
The Pitrius clan is known for being selfish and overconfident. Finron just so happens to be both of these things. While he is not inherently a bad person, he prefers to look after himself first, and he likes doing whatever he wants. He likes to boast about his talents and is more than keen to take someone on in a fight to prove it. Despite his abilities, he tends to overestimate himself and may bite off more than he can chew at times. Like many in the Pitrius clan, Fin is also inherently smart. He is clever and a quick thinker with a sharp tongue. One surefire way to cloud his judgment, however, is to anger him; he has a short temper and quickly resorts to insults or even violence if insulted or provoked. Despite his self-proclaimed lone wolf nature, he actually loves meeting people and quickly becomes loyal to those that form friendships with him.
Character History
Finron Arnon was born to a pair of Pitrius clan members in their respective citadel on Mt. Izurith. He was the third and final child in the family; he has two older siblings, a sister and a brother. His brother, the middle child, had ten years on him - his sister, fourteen. Due to the age gap, they never got very close.
Growing up, Finron was always the black sheep in the family. His parents were scholars, and spent much of their time in the Silver Tower, studying Djed. They were very strict, and emphasized that their children spent most - if not all - of their time studying. Fin's siblings had no qualms with that - but Fin himself came to realize during his childhood that he hated just sitting and reading. He very much preferred to be outside, exploring, learning to fight. Not to mention, he simply could not get a good grasp on the basics of Djen like his family had.
As Finron rose out of adolescence, his relationship with his parents was already strained. It only grew worse as he became more defiant. Everyone around him seemed so loyal to the Isurian race, so closed off to the rest of the world - but he didn't feel the same way. He wanted to see the world. He wanted new experiences. And so, when he was 30 years old, he decided to leave.
Finron gathered up a handful of supplies one night and simply left without another word to his family. He made the perilous trek down the Kitrean Mountains; it took months, and he barely got out alive. Since then, he has been moving from city to city, working odd jobs, seeing the land just as he's always wanted to.
