Basic Information Name: Tsaksha Race: Benshira Date of Birth: Year 497, Day 29 of Summer Current Age: 14 Gender: Female Appearance- First and foremost, there could me no mistaking Tsaksha for anything other than a Benshira. Her skin is a tanned, light brown. She has thick, dark brown hair, and she wears it loose and wavy. Her eyes are very striking, a piercing cyan blue. She is strangely beautiful, her most distinctive feature being her thing nose, which has a funny little bump in the middle. She is quite short, but very lean. She likes to mix and match baggy and tight clothes and see what the effect is. She has a pierced nose and several earrings in her left ear, but she tends to keep them covered with her hair. Personality- Tsaksha is very kind, loyal, chivalrous and brave. Despite this, she keeps her head firmly rooted in reality and tries to not let her mind wander. She does tend to look on the optimistic side of things, though she is a realistic person and will never twist things to make them sound better or more hopeful. Tsaksha usually likes to mind her own business. She seeks her own little goals and goes off on her own little adventures, mainly out of curiosity. She doesn’t pry into peoples private lives, she is content just to listen to what they are willing to tell, and offer advice or consolidation if necessary. She is confident in her own abilities, and likes to push herself to her limits. She is perfectly capable of looking after herself. Despite this, she is an uncommonly kind and welcoming person to those who will give her the chance, and will always try to help if it is needed. Tsaksha is brave, very occasionally to the point of recklessness, but she learns from her mistakes. She is loyal to those who she trusts, and will defend them with her life. She likes to lead by Yahal’s example, and she tries to keep herself as pure and unburdened as possible. She is very resilient, and she believes her past has only made her stronger. She also believes people should trust and be faithful to one another, and she usually doesn’t make assumptions about others, except sometimes she can be a little bit cautious of those who use magic. While Tsaksha usually keeps herself calm and warm, there are times when she can become fiery and feisty. In arguments she tries not to take sides but she can be frustrated if she is stuck in the middle. If anyone disrespects others without reason, she can get very aggressive. She doesn’t like it when people want to know about her past, and tends to lash out if caught by surprise. History- Tsaksha originally lived with her family in Yahebah, but they decided to go with a few others and live a nomadic lifestyle. She had a large family and they were very close, telling stories to each other and teaching themselves the skills they would need to survive in the harsh desert they lived in. They had a flock of goats and a few horses, and Tsaksha immediately bonded with one of the animals, an Eyktolian Desertbred she named Shihel. Her family also kept a few canines to help out with their little flock, and one of these was given to Tsaksha on her eleventh birthday. He was a young golden wolf she named Eykahri, and they became the best of friends. Tsaksha was brought up as a follower of Yahal, and she trusted him and in everything he does. She believes all hardship is a test, and if she put her faith in herself and in Yahal, he would possibly help her overcome these problems. She never doubted the god, and her belief in him has never faltered. They lived a happy life amongst themselves, and they got by one what Eyktol gave them. But on the rare times when they met others in the desert, they heard ill news. A group of travellers was afoot, and apparently it was bad news for the good hearted Benshira who lived in the desert. Her family was wary and alert since hearing these stories, but they continued on doing as they had done for the past few years. One night the fears became reality, and Tsaksha awoke with the stench of smoke filling her nostrils. Her tents were filled with fire, and they were being plundered of any goods they had, and Tsaksha’s dying mother told her to run away and make back for Yahebah, to take anything she could and leave. She tried to save her, but it was too late, and she mounted her horse and sped off, watching everything she loved burn to the ground. Her wolf Eykahri also managed to escape, and he travelled alongside her. But she was followed. The murderous thieves who destroyed Tsaksha’s family managed to track her, and they took her for themselves aswell as her horse and any goods she had managed to salvage. They tried to get back to a city to try to sell their plunder, and they kept Tsaksha sedated a lot of the time with strange mixtures and odd potions. Tsaksha clung on blindly to her faith. As long as she believed, somehow she felt things wouldn't be quite as dark and lonely as they seemed. Somehow, everything made sense when she though of Yahal, everything would be alright. She knew she woudl never abandon him. One night she managed to escape with her horse and dog, but she was very weak. She prayed to Yahal almost constantly to try to get her though, and she managed to travel for a while. She was tormented with the deaths of her family and her ordeal, but she tried to bury it and focus on the task at hand-getting out of the desert.
