Standing at about 6’2, Felix is a modestly attractive man who stands tall above most others. While most normally see him in his suit of armor during business, he typically wears one pair of flaxen clothes or another. He is easily identified by his frayed red silk cloak with the gold clip on his chest. Felix is defined by his odd Eypharian-human mutations. He has a single pair of arms to start, sun-kissed orange-blonde hair, ivory-tinted skin and black eyes with gold iris. He stands out due to his exceptional cosmetic mutations, making him popular as a bodyguard. Despite this, he has the stature and bearing of a trained warrior. While he is not as seasoned as his more senior peers, beneath his armor he is marked by several small scars, showing his battle-hardened nature, something he usually keeps hidden with clothing when out.

Son of a now deceased Hawk of Malrion, Felix is a young soldier turned adventurer with an interest to explore the wider world around him. Abandoned by his father ever since his mother’s death, Felix seeks to honor his mother’s legacy by becoming a Hawk like her one day and to find out who his father was. Felix fights as a spellsword, combining his swordsmanship and battle magic to turn the tide of battle against a foe.

Character History
Felix was orphaned at an early age growing up. His father was an adventurer, and mother a local Hawk. Smitten by the romantic stories of adventure from beyond the realm, they quickly coupled and produced Felix. Felix was an only child however, as not long after his birth, his mother was called away to action and subsequently perished. His father, not wishing to remain in one place, left him to the care of his mother’s brother and left for new realms.
Growing up in Malrion, Felix was considered by others to be a mongrel half-breed & was forced to grow a backbone and learn fighting techniques at a young age. He never really got along with his extended family and was frequently seen running around with more rambunctious elements of society. When he turned 13, he was taken off the streets and adopted under an instructor named Hephaestus, a full-blood Eypharian who saw potential in the mongrel, noticing that he stood well above those of a similar age and was particularly stronger than them.
As he aged into a young adult, Felix became more of a scholarly sort. In addition to being an excellent swordsman, he developed an aptitude for Arcanology, a field that many never expected he had the patience for and learned, with help from his teacher, how to use Flux to make himself stronger and augment his swordsmanship. Hephaestus recognized that Felix had exceptional potential for a career in the military, but he decided to opt for a more exciting life of a bodyguard instead, his exotic features enamoring certain aesthetics of Malrion.
However, Felix was not much of a socialite. While he went to parties and had several steamy relationships with a few Eypharian ladies in secret, he never really felt too attached to polite society nor to court intrigue. Given his mongrel status, he could not hope to rise in polite society without significant personal wealth or power to back up his ascent, in a society that privileged heritage and supposed divinity over skill and capability.
Felix, curious about why his father left him behind and feeling the same strong wanderlust of adventure that caused is father to leave him behind, decided to eventually set out on a journey to find him. His father, an adventurer of some renown from the stories he was told growing up was called Magnus and from his uncle anyways, heard that he had left for Syliras and if he wanted to search for his father then he should start there.
Outfitted with what his mother had left him for an inheritance, a suit of banded mail and a cold-iron sword, he would leave on his 22nd birthday selling everything he could not carry, to go the realm over and bring back wealth, experiences and stories of adventure he could share, possibly making a similar name for himself as his father had done.

Strong and determined, Felix is an arcane intellectual when he is not busy being a soldier or adventurer. Something of a hot head, he acts on impetus with a distaste for extensive deliberation. That does not necessarily mean he does not think, but he lacks tact at times. Recklessness and Determination are blended in this individual. Highly individualistic and somewhat self-absorbed, he has looked past his half-blood nature and embraced his own style of doing things. When it comes to his relationships, he gets along well with like-minded individuals in similar professions and backgrounds. He respects soldiers for their discipline, other adventurers as kindred spirits and athletes as respectable professionals. He dislikes rogues and other deft-handed vagabonds, seeing them as dirty & dishonorable fighters, but is himself not above fighting dirty to defeat them.
