Physical Description
Hasoc stands about 6’0" and weighs 160bs. His distinctive features are his piercing eyes and long black locks. Hasoc’s face is usually calm and stern, itched with a hardness of blood and battle, as evident by his few scars and muscles. He wears a pair of long black trousers and partial chest armor, covering only his stomach and left chest area (over the heart). It may look impractical, but it helps Hasoc balance himself when swinging his poleax to the right, strapped over his back.


Character Concept
Hasoc is a man who is honest to himself and to others. Like most Drykas, he is openly passionate about his views and opinions, and isn’t afraid to make his points known. While a part of him knows not everyone will share the same ideas, he doesn’t back down or conform to another’s ideas or plans easily if they go against his own morals. Hasoc is also modest, not one to take glory in his actions or seek power. Because of this, most people, even his own kind, may see him as a slacker and unable to lead anything.
He’s strongly against the assistance of gods, and wishes nothing more than for them to mind their own affairs, as he does with his own. Hasoc prefers water over any drink any day, and usually eats a diet of animal meat and fruit.


Character History
Hasoc is the eldest of the only two sons of his Pavillon, the Galewind of the Emerald clan. By Drykas traditional standards, he would be next in line to lead the Pavillon, but is less motivated and skilled than his year-junior brother Edorr. Not from a lack of trying, he just realized that he could never truly lead the Pavillon, and that his brother is a strong diplomat.
But where Edorr is strong as a leader, Hasoc is strong as a hunter; expertly killing animals needed to support the Pavillon. This is surprising because Hasoc was able to do this without a Strider, and never came close to getting one.
That is, until one faithful night, he had a dream, telling him to find his Strider. The next day, he found a stray horse travelling… and knew right there it was his Strider, asking for a challenge. Try as he might though, the horse was must faster than Hasoc, and avoided being hunted. Determined to get that horse, Hasoc left the comfort of his Pavillon to claim it.
