77th day of fall, 510 AV

After riding almost for two days straight with not much food and no other company than her oldest brother, who you might describe as the "strong silent type." Yrpa was getting exhausted, she looked around and knew they were close, she looked down and gave Tuck, her Strider a soft pet. Her best friend for about eight years now, and had never left her side. She could feel that he wanted to rest, so she leaned forward and whispered to his ear It's going to be fine, we're probobly just there my boy.

She then raised up, looked around and said outloud to her brother with mock in her sound "are we there yet?" He looked back at her and grinned. "Almost Yrpa, god it's just like you're bored or something."

Yrpa looked at him quickly and blushed, "no nothing like that Rhyke, I... just.." she stumbled with the word but couldn't manage to get them out right, so she just kept her mouth shut the rest of the way.

After few hours of silent riding through a landscape that was starting to slide togeather in Yrpa's eyes, Rhyke stopped on top of a hill and looked back at Yrpa who was not far behind. "Well lil' sys, welcome to Endrykas,"

Yrpa's eyes lightened up, it was her first time there since she was 10 years old and so many things had changed, she looked over the place and felt a little warmth inside of her, she was already looking forward to everything, whatever would meet them.

There they split, that had been the deal, they would meet again somewhere, but now it's Yrpa's time to go her own way and specially try new things, nothing that tied her down anymore, and she had the need to change the enviroment.

She looked after him as he rode by himself into the city, But she didn't follow right ahead but sat still for a moment, looking over the area and breathing in the new scent she hadn't smelt in years. "We are home for now Tuck" She said softly to him smiling. She then rode down to Endrykas, hoping the best, but expecting the worst.

Civilisation.

It had been a few good days, hunting and rummaging in the sea of grass; a potent way of clearing his mind, and it seemed to have worked. Arlen was, however, also tired, and he felt his find drift back towards the comfort of his fellow Drykas and the shifting city.

Riding back, he decided he would pitch a tent near his clan folk, the hunters in this great grassland. It was a little unnerving at first, reintroducing himself, easing back into the spirit of community; but it was also fun, and he dearly enjoyed sharing and listening to stories from his fellow peers.

And truly, fall was here; the grasses seemed ever so duller, and winter seemed to be ever closer by the day. But, he was settled, and that night, he drifted off to a sound sleep, never had since he left the safety of his home, carried away into the night by the lull of the city.

Year 510, Fall, Day 26

The band of travelling Drykas, bent like wizened trees to avoid the wind, looked nothing out of the ordinary untill close inspection.
A cloaked old man travelled with them, misty eyes focused on his beautiful amber steed. It was a... curious horse, the Drykas had learned. It appeared to be very inquisitive, and searching, and always gave a sort of sullen or sad look whenever her rider whispered into her muzzle and carressed her mane.
Approaching the great gates, the man descended from the horses back, taking her face in his hands, and whispering below earshot of the Drykas.
"My darling, My dear... we are at our journeys end. Endrykas lies before us, my dear... you know what that means, dont you, pet..."
The horse gave a startled look and appeared to falter. The old man growled and whispered mor urgently.
"Tebridiar... do not do this. I have my ways of punishing you. Just give me what I want. What I need. Ive needed it for two years, my pet. And I plan on getting it."
The horse glared at him, then looked towards the gates. Great bowmen viewed the Drykas, and let them pass. He stopped the man.
"Your name, your business with our people?" The man grew worried, untill another Drykas whispered to the guard and he let them pass.

Year 510, Day 30 of Fall

Even in the waking days of winter Endraykas was a lively place. Children scrambled between tents while all manner of people strolled back and forth, working and chatting. Several women sat together, scraping hides clean of flesh and gristle for transformation into something of use. They would ensure nothing of the honoured prey went to waste. Traders were set up here and there offering wears. To the experienced eye each person’s clan was easily recognised. The warriors of the crystal clan, his own clan were steeped in a subtle arrogance and walked with a bullish swagger. In comparison the quiet hunters of the emerald clan seemed to have a skulking, predatory manner to each step. A pair of young warriors from the crystal clan who had been chatting swaggered out to meet him. “Well met, Son of Many Wounds.” A thin, wiry man cried, his head bobbing towards the carcass strung over the saddle. “I did not realise you had become a housewife of the Emerald clan. Will you now tend to the children and prepare the meal?” He asked there was an obvious degree of mocking in his tone but it was all just bravado typical of the warrior caste. “Hail. Son of Longstride.” Mauga replied in a rather ritualistic fashion, as if merely repeating the words lay out for him a thousand years before and repeated as many times. “ Your stupidity makes me wonder if your mother had a secret lover. Judging by the look of you I’d say it was one of the goats.” Twisting slightly in the saddle he patted the carcass before cutting away the binds, letting a pair of the women to take it away, ready to join the other kills of the day. “ Winter is coming, such times are lean even for us. Our respected brother hunters require all the help they can get. So no… Son of Longstride I will not tend to the children or prepare a meal. I will instead tend to my horse and look forward to enjoying the warm, slated meat of my skill in the cold heart of winter, and amuse myself with thoughts of your skinny form as you curse your own foolishness. “With a grin Mauga urged his horse on further into the city.

Loc: Entrance - Living his life

Purpose: Living here
Location: Just outside the biggest group of people of the Diamond clan

Aleksi sighed deeply, sitting on one of the big rocks next to her, what they called it, family. Her eyes wandered over the blade of one of her beautiful daggers with an ivory handle and jewels all over it. Her life seemed meaningless. She was a female, and yet she wasn't. Unlike most her age, she wasn't married, nor did she plan to be in quite a bit...
Why did my own father do this to me. I don't understand what should I do now. They are dead and my clan's men will never look at me as one of the girls.

Her lips moved warmly, licking the rain drop of her lips and causing the piercing on her tongue to cling. She smiled. Maybe things weren't so bad, maybe she could still find what every woman wants and be a warrior at the same time. Maybe, just maybe, one day she will have a family like before.
I will make it. I am tired of living your life father. It is time for me to find my own.

Her petite, curly and yet strong body was now standing next to the rock, her head tilted and a soft smile formed on her lips as she tucked the dagger in it's holder and adjusted a whip attached to her hip

Travel had been exhausting.

The ape had a small band of travelling drykas with him, on horseback. They had agreed to escort him inside the city, for which he was glad... strangers werent allowed inside without drykas permission.

His knuckles were sore from the long trek through the sea of grass, and he longed ot relax within the safety of the city. He had heard a lot about it, and he was excited to see this place.

The drykas walked a few paces ahead, and some guards standing at the door eyed the Jamoura with curiousity.

The drykas muttered to eachother quickly in Pavi, and the guards nodded, gesturing to the Jamoura that it was okay to enter the city.

"Sunbane, follow me, keep close girl!" Jerroa said, happiness replacing his otherwise weary voice. "This is Endrykas!"

Purpose for being here: Hunt

Featherline turned her head and studied the tracks she had been following through these grasslands, and then at the place they had led her. A big bundle of tents spread across the plains, Dryka all over the place. The creatures who lived in these lands were not weak, and she did not look forward to hunting them. But this land was known for their horses, and horses could do nicely for hunting. They didn't shoot arrows at her, at least. Nor did they lay traps.

Featherline dived down slightly so that she could see the creatures better. She was planning on landing somewhere, but she wasn't sure as to where exactly.

Featherline you can't just enter into the city, you need a guide. Endrykas is migratory and only a drykas can locate it with ease. Either post in one of my assistants offices (or my own) and we can moderate a guide for you. Or post in character matchmaking and ask for a player to guide you.

But for now your entrance isn't going to fly. PM me if you have any questions or concerns ;)

The Drykas galloped swiftly over the uneven ground...

He saw the beloved city he had left so long ago.

He whispered to his horse to speed up, he could see the guards.

"Hello, brothers." He called to them in Pavi. "May I enter?"

The guards nodded, and he passed through.

Purpose: Visiting, Looking for Adventures

Ariel was riding around in her friend's pocket. It was a big enough pocket where she wouldn't fall out, but short enough where if she stood on her tippy-toes, or pushed the fabric down, she could peer out of it at where they were going without bouncing out and falling flat on her face.

Ariel's friend was a Drykas she had met on her travels, who thankfully, was kind enough to take her back to his homeland with her. Ariel was hoping that within the migrating city, she'd find many new adventures, and perhaps acquire some knowledge as well.

Her friend, Yari's horse, Shadow, pounded along over both dirt and grass. Plants. Past all sorts of animals- rabbits, and other rodents, the occasional bird. Ariel was filled to the brim with excitement as she rode along in Yari's pocket. The trip was getting bumpier and bumpier, and she had to hold on tight to the pocket.

It felt like her eyes were rolling around in her head, and her brain was hitting the top of where her clay-skull was each and every time the horse took a step. If she were any other race, she knew she'd probably have lost her lunch by now with all the upwards and downwards momentum of the trip.

"Slo..ooo...ooo..ooo..oooo...wwww...www...ww do..wwwww...wwww...nn" she said as Shadow cantered along. His long black mane whipping around him with the force. But Yari didn't seem able to hear here, or at least, to determine what it was that she was saying.

A few minutes later, Yari pulled back on the reigns. "Ahh, the knotted gates," Yari said, as she called to one of the other Drykas standing by it. "May I enter brother?" The man nodded. "Just know that I also carry a friend," Ariel peered out of the pocket, looking out of the guard, who actually seemed to notice her. He turned to another one, and they whispered, before waving them both through the gates.

Yari trotted along for a bit before dismounting and tying her horse to a post. After which, she walked over to a large fire, perhaps thinking that Ariel might be cold, or perhaps she herself was cold, and said, "here, this will be warm, and a lot of people should come and go, it'd be a good way to meet them." Ariel nodded, "thank you Yari."

"See you later," Yari said, "I'm in need of rest." Ariel nodded, although she sometimes slept, she wasn't tired now, she was simply taking in everything around her, and her un-blinking eyes were perfect for the job.
