Name: Ianus
Race: Ethaefal
Gender: Male
Fall: 505 AV
When Leth’s light shines upon Mizahar, Ianus appears as a being almost too beautiful for the mortal realm. He stands tall and slender, even a little bony most of the time, with his skin reflecting the moonlight in shades of opalescence. Quicksilver seems to flow in his eyes. His features are smooth and elegant, as if carved out of marble by Leth himself, and sprouting from his temples is a pair of curled horns, shimmering with a glassy quality as if made from the fabric of the moon himself. His limbs are long and not prone to developing bulky muscle; instead his frame is more suited to agility and speed. His fingers are especially long and pale. Just like the seasons run through their cycle every year, Ianus’ hair and horns bleed into different colors with every flaring from the Watchtower. They run through a variety of different shades and hues, reflecting nature around them.

Name: Savere Chrysanthemum
Race: Symenestra
Gender: Male
Birth: 470 AV
Death: 499 AV (29 years)
Together with the moon also diminishes the Etheafal’s near-divine beauty. Reverting back into the form of his last mortal identity, the Symenestra Savere Chrysanthemum, his size drops and the sheen on his skin disappears. While his body retains the potential for speed, he appears deathly pale and skinnier than ever. Long limbs and a thin torso leave the impression of a large spider, and in fact his body is as fragile as a spider’s, but also as fast and dexterous. Together with natural agility, he also features black claws that grow long from the fingers, but are filed short at the toes. His features bear some similarity to those of his night form, although a little sharpened around the edges. When he opens his mouth, sharp fangs are visible that contain the Symenestra poison. His eyes are blood red with large pupils and his hair black as raven feathers, cut longer over his cheeks and shorter at the back of his head. All in all, his movement is filled with natural elegance and harmony, more in tune with his surroundings than at night, yet still too removed to fully slip into his dead Symenestra identity.

Ianus is an observer at heart. Content with watching others, he finds himself to be intrigued by the variety of mortal society and relationships. Trying to anticipate a person’s behavior, sometimes even putting them into certain situations and watching how they react are his favorite pastimes. Through practice, he has gotten adept at noticing details and weaving tales around the facts he sees. In general, he is peaceful and curious, although not one to engage in social niceties. His breath is not wasted to empty words, he will only speak when necessary.
In his last life, he was Savere of the Chrysanthemum net. From a young age on, he enjoyed going on harvests and finding suitable surrogate mothers they could mate with. A woman he met on his harvest journeys also taught him the magic discipline of Auristics, probably as a means to avoid dying. Savere brought her back to Kalinor nevertheless, but as a sign of his gratitude he decided she would be his first mate. After that, he grew more and more skilled with harvests, his auristic sense telling him who would make a good surrogate mother and who not. Quite contrary to the common Symenestra belief, Savere has always looked up to Leth together with Viratas because the moon illuminated his way on countless journeys. How he died is a difficult question, but he remembers encountering a dangerous creature on a harvest, probably a Dhani, and being killed during the incident. Other lives include a male Drykas, a Konti and a human mage before the Valterrian who offered himself up to Project Sahova.
