She stared at the man in disbelief. No one had ever taken such interest in her, but she smiled at the thought of someone to talk to. "I-It feels wonderful to run in the grass." she blushed slightly. "I love to feel the wind on my face , and the dirt on my hooves." She twiddled her fingers. She kept on making herself nervous. She knew now that this man would not ridicule her.

Still she was getting even more fidgety, talking about running made her want to run. She was sure it was showing on her face to, but to shift meant to strip and she didn't want to do that in front of this man. Her face was completely red at these thoughts, knowing that he could most likely read every one of them.

As he rested back, he enjoyed seeing her smiling, and equally basking in her own pleasure of discussing what it felt like to run across the grass as a horse does. From what she spoke of and how it affected her so he could almost feel that it must be very exhilarating to be a horse, to travel whenever you wanted, as fast as you wanted across the grass that was his homeland. In times past he would have thought this conversation a bit weird, somewhat out of place unless perfect context had been put on it. Who would have imagined him talking to a kelvic about what it was like to run across the grass and acting like it was the most natural thing. To him it didn't really much matter, conversation was conversation, and it didn't matter what the person he was talking to may be only that she seemed the kind enough sort that was nice to be around.

A stray strand of hair drifted over his eyes and he brushed it back with his hand, his eyes still watching the woman before him. " It must be nice, to be able to run so fast over the grass whenever you wish " he said, his voice thick in the air as his imagination carried him, remembering how it felt just to ride with Airiat, the sea of grass rushing beneath them. His heart beat slightly faster with excitement, and he closed his eyes for the briefest of moments, fully involved in the sensation. Then his eyes opened and he was staring once more at the woman, her cheeks now colored brightly, and confusion set in on him. Why was she blushing?

Gin realized that Erzotol had no idea what was going on by the look of slight confusion he was giving her.The blush left her face, and she smiled. She never knew someone could be so dense, but she found it quite cute. She set her harp down behind her and stood up, offering a hand to Erzotol. "All this talk of running is making me want to run, but to do this I must..." she didn't finish her sentence, blushing bright red again. Though she dare not look away this time. Willing the man to understand what she meant. She truely wished to not be rude to the man and she knew that he hadn't met a lot of kelvics before. She just hoped that he knew even a little bit. She wasn't one who was good at teaching.

A few moments after she stood up, he raised himself from the ground, dusting off the caked dirt and grass, before looking up at her and seeing her offered hand. Attentively he took it, and found it quite soft under his callused fingers as they slowly wrapped around her smaller hand. She was hinting at something, with her words, and then it all came together for him. He blushed bright red at the admission, looked a way a moment to gather his thoughts. She was going to have to take off her clothes to do what she wanted, and something told him that it would be very awkward to just be standing in the street beside a woman stripping down. Instinctively he took a step back, and kept his head low, shifting the balance of his weight on his feet uneasily. " I'll turn away while you do what you need to do " he said, not even wanting to admit that she was going to undress for fear it would bring yet another fusion of blush across his cheeks. Slowly and deliberately he turned around, staring at the various pavilions that framed the thin winding paths that wound their way between and across the huge tents.

Gin took off her clothing, laying it neatly on the ground next to her, to a few steps sideways, and morphed into her horse form. A scar showed up clearly on her back, and her long mane floated in the slight breeze. She barely made a sound on the dirt ground as she trotted over to Erzotol and nudged her nose on his shoulder. Huffing and slightly neighing at him. Using her head she signaled that he pick up her clothing and lay them by her tent.

She shook her head, for there were already flies and other such bugs racing onto her. She huffed again and pawed the ground with her front hooves. Looking at the grass, she longed to run and play in, but she patiently waited, and in her waiting, small birds landed on her back chirping their songs. She listen to their chitters with joy.

A soft, warm nose pressed against his shoulder, prompting him to look backward at the fine, white wind runner that stood behind him. Ah so this is who you are he thought, chuckling amusedly out loud. He reached out a steady hand to pat her firmly on the nose before walking past her and gathered up the strewn clothes. Once he had the bundle in hand, he took them over to the tent he supposed was hers and placed them gently inside. With a slight grin on his face, he turned about looking at Gin again, and walked over to her, coming to a stop beside her. " This form feels much better I take it? " he asked softly as he combed his fingers through her short fur, and laid his cheek against her side.

Gin stood there, sturdy as a cottage, as the man slightly layed on her flank. She snorted in answer to his question with agreement. It felt strange for her to be so accepted. She wasn't one for fond memories of her past, but she was okay with it. Her past didn't matter anymore. What mattered was the present, and at this moment, her attention was fully given to Erzotol. She moved very little as her tail swished against her legs. She wondered why he chuckled but threw away the thought. His fingers running along her hide felt like a heaven she hadn't felt in such a long time. Her ears were pricked up as they stayed in that position.

His fingers ran through her short fur again, rubbing at her sides contentedly, his mind drifting back to his strider Airiat, safely tucked away at his camp, and likely missing him, as he was missing his strider. Slowly wandering, his eyes settled on the blanket of her white fur, enjoying it's combined warmth and softness on his cheek as he slowly breathed in and out. Running his hand up the arch of her neck, he patted it gently, seeking permission to ride her, and if none was granted he would simply be contented to brush her down with his fingers, the familiar motion soothing him to his core. If she allowed him on though, he would carefully swing himself onto her back, making sure not to accidentally kick her as he did so, and then would set him self to be more balanced on top of her. Gently he would stroke up the side of her neck, before wrapping his arms loosely around it, and with his head beside hers, he would whisper " Feel free to ride as fast as you can, I'll can hold my own as a rider. "

Gin loved the feel of his hands across her pelt. She forgot that Drykas' depend strongly on horses. If she could smile she would have. When his words fluttered to her ears and he was hugging her loosely, butterflies filled her stomach. She had only once had someone on her back not to long ago but her memory of it was foggy. She wanted to know how it felt. Gin wanted a great memory of a ride with a friend. Though she wasn't sure how to convey her answer to him. She thought on it. How would his horse agree, how would he communicate with him. Gin's ears pricked up and thought hard. She really wanted to run. She decided to take a small step towards him, making him come closer asshe did so. Hoping this would give the right message to her newfound friend.

Gently grabbing a handful of mane, and planting his hand on Gin's back, he swung himself slowly onto her back. From here he could feel her from a whole other level, her muscles rippling slowly beneath his legs, and the feel of her breathing radiating through his body. His hand, still yet holding onto her silky mane, relaxed and stroked the side of her neck upwards, urging her to move forward much in the same way he would his own strider. Perhaps she knew the simple commands he did, but incase she didn't he would voice them aloud.

"Feel free to run, I'm sure you long to feel the rush of the wind just as much as I do" Erzotol said as his eyes wandered ahead of them, seeing a clear path between the tents that could quickly lead them out of the outskirts, and more into open ground where riding could be more enjoyed. Lightly he squeezed her sides between his legs and wrapped two strong arms around her broad neck, securing himself for the ride to come, even coming to leaned his cheek against her soft, short white fur, and breathing her scent in deep. Riding was a experience wholly like nothing else, and he wasn't quite sure how anyone else made it without enjoying such pleasures, but from reports of outsiders he heard over a good brew, he trusted that many where without the touch of a horse for all if not most of their lives. The thought made him shudder and force his mind back to Gin, a smile coming to his face. Quite a thing to be riding a horse not mine, haven't rode another horse since I bonded with Airiat after all.
