Naar of the Bloody Talons![]() Basic Information • Race: Mixed Blood (Myrian/Human) • Age & Birthday: 28, 483AV • Gender: Male • Height: 6’2 • Weight: 214lbs • Hair Color: Black • Eye Color: Brown • Languages: Myrian (Fluent), Common (Basic), Fratava (Poor) Physical Description Naar is a large man. He stands at a total of 6 feet and 2 inches and his body is amply endowed with muscle toned from both training and work. The majority of his muscle is natural meaning he hasn’t actually worked out for the bulk of it besides the basic exercises that come with training. He has powerful hands, arms and legs that he has toned in a multitude of different ways. Muscle doesn’t bulge from his body but it is noticeable and Naar knows it. Naar’s movements aren’t the most graceful to be sure though watching him no one would see a man that was to jerky or uncomfortable with what he was doing. When Naar does something it isn’t necessarily pronounced, especially when he fights, but anyone who sees him from the sidelines will have a clear indication of what he intends to do whether that be to attack, defend or even outright assault someone within arm’s length of him. Black hair, short and kept that way, covers the top of his head and his eyes are brown. Naar is considered attractive by some but not all, his looks are likely a bit more rustic than handsome which he doesn’t seem to mind or consider. When Naar smiles it’s a subtle expression that doesn’t bring a lot of attention to himself though when he frowns or becomes angry it is clearly apparent on his facial features. His laugh is deep but the sound is rare in the company of strangers and his voice can be rough, almost barking, or quiet depending on the situation. Character Concept Naar is a half breed of the Myrian society. His mother is a full blooded Myrian and his father is dead, all Naar knows is that his father was likely a man that was captured by his tribe and killed after the women took what they wanted from him. Because he isn’t a full blooded Myrian himself Naar is well accustomed to the racism and backbiting comments often directed towards him which he has actually learned to appreciate seeing as how he knows he is different from the others. Occasionally his anger does manifests but usually this is only a direct result of someone questioning his competence as a warrior and not his origins. When his anger is aroused Naar is quite a cruel individual revelling in the pain he inflicts on others, especially those who had questioned him in the first place. His beatings go beyond mere victories and proceed to bloody assaults that last well past his opponents being able to defend themselves when he is victorious. In this Naar both proves his own ability and also shames those who had doubted him in the same process which he takes satisfaction in. Due to the matriarchal society of the Myrians with females generally holder a higher social standing than men Naar is apt to taking a bit more verbal abuse from woman, at least in the presence of others, however if pushed he will show them the same malicious treatment as he would a man. Naar kills without hesitation when he is required to do so, he prefers that the people he kills are his enemies but he will kill his friends if he has no other choice as well, there is no sadness in death according to him. Naar often prefers to speak as little as possible. He is accustomed to his opinion being asked very little due to his mixed blood. When his opinion is sought he can be quite abrupt and to the point though if the conversation appeals to him he sometimes becomes more vocal and animated. Naar respects action more than words and does not discriminate between the sexes, if a woman can do the job better than a man she should do so and vice versa, and this carries over to all societies for him and not just his own. Character History Naar was born in the year 483AV when his tribe captured a group of travellers. Naar did not know his father but rumor persists that he was not a full blooded Myrian, his mother never spoke of him. Naar was born to a warrior mother who taught him well but expressed a certain dissatisfaction with her mixed blooded son and kept an emotional distance from him. She had another child, a girl, before Naar who was obviously the favourite due both to being a girl in Myrian society and of pure blood. Naar and his sister were also not especially close but they were more than tolerant of one another. They trained together and relied on one another occasionally which their mother appeared to approve of for no other reason than that they were siblings. Naar settled well into his role as the black sheep between the two of them. When he reached adulthood Naar became a hunter and warrior. He’d learned the ways of unarmed combat well and sought to hone his body so that he could aspire to be a strong hunter. Now he fights for his tribe and the Warrior Queen Myri, Goddess of the Myrians, with a quiet fervour doing what is required of him. Wounds and Scars Due to Naar's failure to clean his wounds, the cut her suffered on his side grew infected. It will take 30 days (32nd to 62nd of Winter) to heal completely. For the next 15 (32nd to 47th of Winter) days, deep breaths will cause him pain. Any blows dealt on the wound will aggravate the injury during this 15-day period. Naar will also sport a black eye for the next 20 days (32nd to 52nd of Winter) from the blow suffered from Vynxia's spear. Naar will experience mild discomfort from any amount of pressure applied on the bruise during this time.
