November's Featured Thread!

Ron: Sexy, hot, and spicy, it's no surprise that Jules and I would pick a thread like this to feature. It involves two wonderful characters, Irriari who I am very familiar with and a big fan of, and Sahiri who I know little about but who I'm quickly falling for. The fact that this thread involves my two favorite races, kelvic and zith, is just a plus. Sahiri are Irriari are both excellent writers and the thread is oozing with sexiness. It begins innocently enough, a girl takes a shopping trip to the market hoping to pick up some new clothes. Another girl sees her and they hook up. Freaky sex ensues. Simple enough, but of course there is more to it than that.

Jules: Although I am unfamiliar with both characters in this thread, when I stumbled upon this beauty lingering to be graded in Ravok(HINT HINT Verilian), I swear that I found pure gold. I am always astounded when players can take a simple theme, such as shopping, and turn it into a fun filled, action packed thread. Since diversity is celebrated in Mizahar, we thought it was appropriate that the spotlight be turned to another affair including two women. Though there might not be true love and mushy feelings involved, it none the less pushes the envelope of a relationship between two women. Plus, Zith's deserve love too.

Ron: What I liked best about this thread was the depth both players put into their writing. It is so easy to gloss or skip over the nuances of seduction, and often when people try it comes off as just cleshay. Beyond simple seduction, however, was another more subtle layer to the thread, the predator and prey relationship. Both women are of a predatory nature, but Sahiri is marked by Nikali which makes her automatically submissive and more like prey. Irriari is clearly a predator being a Zith and set her sights on Sahiri from the very beginning of the thread, but it was Sahiri who set out the bait and lured Irriari in.

Jules: Like Ron pointed out, it's an intriguing game of cat-and-mouse. Although it would seemingly only make sense for the Zith to hunt a Kelvic, as the thread progresses, this does not seem to quite be so...so who is really the predator and who is the prey? Sahiri coyly stalks her prey with subtle glances and suggestions while Irriari, drawn to the other woman by the unknown that she poses, steadily peruses her target. And when they finally pounce? Well, from there it's a lip-biting, smirk-inducing swordplay of words that leaves the reader aching and on the edge of their seat for what happens next.

Ron: It pains me that the thread had to be cut short, but as we all know life can take unexpected twists and we are forced to leave from time to time. That doesn't diminish the quality of writing in this thread and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Jules: I know it left me weak in the knees. Let go of your inhibitions, Ron and I sure have! While we have a large splay of different ages here on Miz, I think it is safe to say that despite age or sexual orientation, everyone can enjoy this thread.
