Renzil is a traveler. Shade would like to get to know this beautiful young lady to see where she’s been and why she is out on her own.
Karver is simply a personal NPC. Lynk is a City NPC who is in charge of The Blinding Light Studio. I need a place to keep notes on both of these - what Shade knows about them, their relationship, etc. Lynk and Karver are father and son. Karver is a good friend of Shade, while Lynk is Shade's Mentor. I feel like the dynamic would be good to have Shade actually be the son-archtype Lynk wanted while hes stuck with Karver. And Karver having some resentment of Shade being what Lynk wants moreso than Karver being what Lynk wants.

Karver fell under the age old situation of a driven father producing a slacker son. Sired by a prominent Xannos Acolyte, Karver pretty much does nothing his father expects him to and is often traveling or getting into trouble in and around Nyka. Karver’s only interested is in having a good time. Karver works only when he needs coin (and his old man has cut him off) and then only at odd jobs. He feels his calling will come to him one of these days and when it does he needs to be wide open to whatever possibilities that calling brings. While he does live at home with his father, he is rarely there, opting instead to wander, usually on his father’s mizas.
Despite all that, he has picked up a good deal of knowledge on archery, specifically the longbow, and unarmed combat. Karver finds himself in a lot of brawls in Nyka and generally joins them with gusto. He often urges his friends into trouble and has no qualms about making life more interesting if he feels it is just too dull to stomach. Despite being a slacker, Karver is highly intelligent and rarely misses a well placed joke or insult and often comes up with whitty banter of his own.

Lynk comes from a long line of Xannos Monks. He is in charge of The Blinding Light Studio and has been since the studio opened. Lynk is a very dedicated monk and a jewelcrafter of significant renown. He always takes several apprentices and often keeps them until the dangerous life monks lead in Nyka affects their lifespan or ability to cut and set gemstones or work precious metal. Lynk is approachable with a very subtle sense of humor. He finds great joy in what he does, but feels he is too old to be out on the streets defending the city when there are younger more vivacious monks to do that work. So instead he practices politics in the Xannos Headquarters, maintains rivalries among other craftsman monks in the system, and serves Xannos and Nyka’s people as best he can. Lynk is also a choirmaster of a Xannos Monk Choir that meets ever third day in the Tempered Anvil Headquarters. As such, Lynk can often be heard singing throughout his studio as he works. He has a lovely tenor voice.
So far I'm leaving Shade's family blank in case anyone wants to come along and play a family member like a brother or cousin. His parents are deceased so there's no need to include any sort of information on them since their deaths' occurred when Shadekas was five years of age and he doesn't remember them well.
