Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

Dancing and Singing (Kail)

Taithrosa sat watching the woman he loved as she seemed to have an internal struggle. He knew she worried about him leaving. Here it appeared to be the way of her people. He didn't notice any real long term relationships. Taithrosa may have been part Akalak but his true self was something more. A being who had seen the heavens and had memories of his past excistances. He did have these memories and so his culture was in many ways a mixture of those things, besides his Akalak sided dated back over five hundred years ago to a different culture.

He smiled as she finally answered his question. He pulled her close and kissed her lips. His eyes were full of wonder and joy at the news that she shared with him. He had hoped she would say yes but wasn't sure she would. Kail was much the product of her culture, and so he wasn't sure how she would have gone in this particular issue.

His heart swelled with in him at the joy of what they had agreed to and his lips spoke of that joy and the promise that he was making. He was agreeing to be hers and hers alone. They would have the centuries together, and that sounded like a promising joy, and a gift from the gods. "Praise be that you shall become one with me." He said simple.
Do you think that you could ever, Through all eternity,
Find out the generation Where Gods began to be?
Or see the grand beginning, Where space did not extend?
Or view the last creation, Where Gods and matter end?
Me thinks the Spirit whispers, “No man has found ‘pure space,’
Nor seen the outside curtains, Where nothing has a place.”

Dancing and Singing (Kail)

Postby Kail D'Rea on November 4th, 2011, 3:24 am

Kail settled back against Taith and started to wonder what the future would be like. She would be different from everyone around her if she had a man that stayed with her here, but she could seem to care. All she could think about was that Taith wanted to keep her. For good. Suddenly, Kail started to giggle. She couldn’t help it. A strange and new sort of excitement suddenly replaced her questions, her worry, her doubts. She was filled with a wild energy. It was as if the day before hadn’t taken any energy and she was instantly fresh and ready for anything. Kail gave up her anger at the sea. Maybe it would take Taith away from her now, but it would bring him back later. She had to love it anyway and in with her new energy, she wanted to dive in and splash around wildly.

Suddenly she was on her feet, still laughing and pulling on Taith so her would stand up too. She carefully placed Taith’s ring in a pocket for safe-keeping, then removed her outer layer of clothing and dropped the skirt and light top in the spot they had been sitting. It was only a second later, she was in the water. She started with a dive to get her used to the temperature change, but after only a few seconds under water she stood back up and started throwing water at her new fiancé as quickly as possible. It never even entered her mind what he would think of all this. All she knew what that she was ready to have fun together, release some energy and forget that he would be leaving her all too soon.

Silvery eyes looked down at Kail as she laid her head against his chest and her body pressed against his own. His eyes followed her as she bounded off of the ground and his lap. He smiled as she tried to pull him off the ground. Given there size differences though he wasn't that easy to pull up, but he stood up at her indication.

He had seen many sides to her before but this was a new one. He looked at her with a tilt of his head as she stripped off her clothing. He enjoyed watching the joy on her face as he stripped off his shirt and then stripped off of his pants and his under clothing.

He walked to the edge of the water and then walked into the water a bit before diving into the water his arms clasped before his to make a point as he dived into the water and swam for a moment before standing up the water drippling down his face as he turned to see were Kail currently was. When he saw her he walked over to her and gave a gentle splash of water in her direction as he grinned down across the water at her.

Dancing and Singing (Kail)

Postby Kail D'Rea on January 3rd, 2012, 5:08 am

With the streams and drops of water racing off her shining skin as the golden sunset reflected all around her, Kail laughed again. Taith waded toward her smiling an odd sort of half smile and lightly flicking water at her. He’d lost all his clothes and Kail took a minute to just enjoy the view. Then she took advantage of her Konti heritage and slid back into the water, swiftly swimming through the water that felt alive around her and on her skin, then coming up almost faster than she should be able behind Taith. She reached around his waist and held on tight, pulling backwards in a movement that would have pulled him into the water, if he weren’t, well, him. Kail knew by now that Taith usually humored her and did what she wanted him too on his own. She hoped this wouldn’t be the exception. She wanted him there in the water with her, connected with the thicker-than-air environment and doing something she loved on her own island; moving through the water and feeling at home there. She was happy to be anywhere with Taith, but home was best for her and that’s what swimming meant: home. She needed this moment, but she also wanted it. She waited for Taith to join her in the water. Just, she reflected, as she would be waiting in the months to come to be together.

The large man realizes that Kail was in a playful mood. He tried to keep an eye on her as she dived under water and seemed to vanish. The distortion in the water made it difficult to see movement and then add to that her natural movement in water. It was relaxing standing in water and letting it move around him. The water behind him splash as she stood up and wrapped her warm arms around him and pulled him back. It was true she couldn’t really move his massive bulk, but he could play along. He fell back into the water and sat down.

He looked for were his love had gone and began to swim around in the water. He didn’t understand her connection to the water but he could appreciate that it was her environment and that it meant a lot to spend time in the water. He large muscles were able to quickly move him through the water. Despite that Kail was far better at swimming then him. He moved like lump in water, were she glided through the water.

He paused and looked around to see where she had swam. Once he found her he would swim over there splashing the whole way in an effort to play the water games.

Dancing and Singing (Kail)

Postby Kail D'Rea on February 24th, 2012, 4:04 pm

Laughing gently at what looked to her like the extremely awkward movements of his large man in the water, Kail paused where she was just under the water's surface. Then she turned around and swam back to the splashing blue form. She laughed again as she came out of the water and took his hand. "Taith, the water is your friend. Don't fight it like that. Use it. Swim like, well, like the water is air and you are flying. It's smooth and easy." Then the mischievous grin returned. "And the same is true of splashing." She used her small gentle hands to execute a quick movement in the water that resulted in a virtual cascade of splashing water descending on all the parts of Taith not already in the water. She was confident here, knowing that even with his size, strength and reach, he was no match for her in water games. It made her feel better, somehow.

Taithrosa raised his arm to ward off the splashing as she showed him the most effective tactic to use in the water. The beautiful woman swimming with him did move through the water far more gracefully then he did. He suspected it had something to do with her heritage, actually he was positive, people who live half in and out of the water are good swimmers. He looked at her through the curtian of water and made a dive for her as she swam away and then stood back up and employed her own water splashing technique, well as best as he could translate it.

He enjoyed the play and the splashing it for some reason set something free in him. His constant learning and distracting of his mind hadn't allowed him to really just enjoy himself. There wasn't life altering about the games they were playing at least not on the surface but something inside Taithrosa was feeling the change as they splashed around. He was sure that he was relaxing and he could feel that on his mind. It didn't feel so tense and there seemed to be and easing, but truthfully he didn't really pay that much attention. He was playing and so wasn't worried about deep thoughts.

He laughed as he launched another wave of water over her.

Dancing and Singing (Kail)

Postby Kail D'Rea on June 17th, 2012, 10:44 pm

As the day wound down and the oddly matched couple splashed and played like children, Kail was happy. Truly happy. Her mind worked on it's own, getting used to idea of actually getting married. Thinking beyond the wedding and being a bride was a bit to far to comprehend right now, and she didn't try, really. She just thought of being happy like they were now again later, maybe even forever. It made the evening perfect.

As her moods had suddenly shifted all evening, so they shifted again after they had laughed and splashed to her hearts content. Kail stood abruptly and looked at the end of the day in the west. "Let's go home now Taith. I want to go home," she said. Her voice was serious, except for the lingering note of laughter from the fun they'd had. She was happy now and hoped to hold that feeling as Taith brought her to the shore and then on to the little house she'd shared with him almost since the time she moved in. It was theirs and she wanted to be happy there too tonight.

To say the sudden change was surprising would be and exact statement of fact. He paused in the middle of chasing her as she stood up and looked to the west and the seeting sun. His silver eyes widened for a moment and looked west as well then turned back and walked over to her. He picked her up and holding her close to his chest walked back to the shore. His wet skin pressed against hers as his body heat sank into the skin of her flesh. He paused only long enought to grab those things they had left on the shore before he headed towards the home they lived in. His eyes looked down at hers as he walked looking at those violet eyes with the loved that radiated from them.

His own silver eyes held his own love for this woman as they walked. Him holding her flesh to his own, his large and strong body holding her smaller form. It was a slow pace so that she wasn't jostled as they walked, it was just a chance for them to share time together. "So given neither of us has a really wedding culture how do you want to be married?" He asked her in konti contiuning to work on that language.

Dancing and Singing (Kail)

Postby Kail D'Rea on June 19th, 2012, 5:36 pm

Kail started out by focusing hard on the right words to reply in Akalak. It was so hard and while they had studied together, Taith was learning Konti much faster than she was learning Akalak. He used Konti more and needed it more then she did Akalak, so while she knew she should practice and the thought crossed her mind, in the end, she replied in Konti. “Well, love, I assume we will have the wedding here on the island when you get back and since we can’t have it at my grandmother’s home, or any other place in the water-side, I guess it better be the beach.” Kail secretly wished to enjoy such a special moment in the breath-taking crystal caves, where the connection to the sea, the gods and each other would be strongest, but that really wouldn’t be possible, so she dismissed the thought and focused on the possible. “It would be really nice to have it right at sun-rise, or just after, so you’ve already changed. It could be the start of a new day and a new start for us.” A smile touched her lips. What a sentimental thought. Not the kind of thing she normally pondered, but a wedding was different, right? She did want to do things in a proper way to help their promise hold. If this start was taken seriously, maybe the whole thing would be, not only by Kail and Taith, but by her family: a group of people she did not doubt would be skeptical about the whole thing.

“I wish I knew when you would be back. Then we could think about the weather and what food will be in season, but then I supposed we could just go with year-round foods and not bother with specialties.” Wow, she did want to think about the wedding. It was sort of fun to even think about foods, not something she would bother with, normally. Maybe planning a wedding would be fun, after all. At least it would be a nice distraction.

“What do you think? Is there anything you want to do?”
