Physical Description
Torc stands about 5’6" and weighs 250lbs. He has short black hair with a tint of blue seen in the light and has one green and one brown eye. His physical appearance looks to be heavily muscled with tan skin. Torc’s face appears to be of a square cut, a large jaw and hard features show make him look rugged. His eyes seem sunken compared to his board face. However, upon closer examination its due to his skull having large ridge near his eyebrows. At first glance across the room there is a quiet giant strength about the boy almost man. The feeling a seeing a mountain against hills are usually the first thoughts that come across poets minds. Yet upon closer examination the feeling of a hard weight is in his eyes. The fire that comes across his flexing facial muscles makes one feel as if a forge pounding the very iron of one’s souls are contained within. Though Torc wears loose long sleeve shirts upon his left hand one can skin the skin appears to have the color of copper brown Dravite, in places the copper brown gives way to a rose pink looking like rose quartz or healing skin from a burn. Torc voice sounds like gravel, low and rumbling when he decides to talk.

Character Concept

Torc whether by design or his history is an introvert. He is constantly thinking about his life, mistakes, and where he fits in. However, due to his thoughts they often lead to anger, which is not yet tempered by age and experienced. He often feels alone in the world and wonder why his hard work hasn’t secured him better in life. Though he dreams of a wife and children of his own, well as least the act of making children, he is almost terrified of women. Torc is more naïve about women than most, at times he holds them in so high regard that he almost lose any thought for himself, and at other times he sees such darkness in them that he would rather run then be caught in such viper eyes. Torc has travelled to a larger city not just to be a craftsmen but also learn ways wield Djed and world magic. The stories of the magecraft have deluded Torc into thinking that his destiny and fortune lays within discovery of the olds ways. Torc enjoys hard labor, whether pounding stakes in the ground or lifting large boxes, since his focus is on the work and not on his life.

Character History
Torc was found in the proverbial basket in front of a temple of Kelwyn. Raise along with other children that had been abandon, Torc seemed to take to the hard labor offered by the temple. The priests and priestess enjoyed Torc since most of the time he could be found working diligently. Torc loved the quiet that the temple offered and as children grew Torc released that he didn’t grow as fast as the others. Slowly questions about his past began to worm his way into his mind, questions like where did he come from and who was he? Priest Ano did his best to put Torc’s mind at least, telling him that the temple believed that everything had purpose even Torc’s existence. As Torc turned 12, he began to help with carpentry and repairing metal about the temple, which brought Torc happiness for awhile. The temple began to expand by the time Torc had reached 18, doing a lot of the work himself he seemed to be in a fever haze most days and nights. Priestess Lara knew that Torc had reached the age where girls had caught his eye, and she also knew that he worked to exercise the very thing out of him.

Upon the winter of Torc 20 year, Torc was tireless pacing the temple for anything to do. Priest Ano told him that since the winter was too cold for digging and masonry work that Torc should learn something. Torc knew he had little patience for book learning and figures, so he set about the temple looking for something. Finally Priestess Lara took pity on Torc and sat him down in the study. Softly and without anger she taught Torc about Glyphing and Magecraft. To Torc it was as if a world had opened to him. Where he had no patience for books, he found days calm in studying something that could made and shaped. The winter went fast for him, and as he finished the last bit of knowledge about the subject’s spring had arrived.

Torc worked harder than before, for another orphan Mola Clearvoice had started to become a woman. Torc often felt his eyes go over to the girls table during meals to look at Mola. It was only in quiet honest work for the temple could he lose the thoughts that his loins conjured. By Summer Torc had felled enough trees to start explanation of the bath house, and began working on doubling its capacity. During the work Priestess Lara saw Torc only stop when Mola walked by, and a feeling of dread came over her. Priestess Lara knew Torc was beginning to fall into love with Mola, and if that had been all she would have been happy for the boy. However, Mola had plans and often talked about marrying a merchant or miller. Mola couldn’t see that Torc wasn’t just a hard worker, but would grow to be a kind man. She wouldn’t see it because Torc had no money to his name. So Priestess Lara asked the Twins for help in such a lost cause of love.

At the end of winter Priestess Lara asked Priest Ano to ready an apprenticeship for Torc. The boy had saved the temple a great deal of money and he should be provided for, Priest Ano agreed and asked around the small town for work on behave of Torc. In the end no work could be found and Torc was given the money to set out on his own. Confused he asked Priest Ano to stay and work for the temple. Proud at his request Priest Ano agreed not knowing that Mola was the real reason.

As the next year came and went Torc spent his money improving some of his tools and skills, while secretly clearing a plot of land outside of town selling the lumber to a mill. Smiling he thought he had found his place and soon he would be ready to court fair Mola. As Torc returned to the temple, Priestess Lara stood up during evening meal and spoke, “We give thanks today for Mola has been promised to Greise Miller, eldest son of our town grain mill.” Though Torc cheered like the rest of the temple, Priestess Lara saw the clench of the young man’s muscles and knew the pain that coursed through him. She had hoped and prayed that the twins would have helped in such a cause. Torc was heartbroken and instead set his mind to work, by the end of winter work had created new benches and pews for the entire temple. His pain had bleed into his work with it finished Torc had only time to think. Finally Priestess Lara took Torc aside and told him to find work at one of the grand cities, that she was sure that Torc would be helps by the twins in his cause and that he would find his place in the things he made not in a spot. So Torc gathered up his belongs and went to closest city that he could.

Torc’s Aura
Secret :
Note: The below is a description of colors, images, and emotion descriptions of Torc’s aura. However, the reader should recognize that they can describe an aura however they wish, but the core meanings are consistent. It is the writers belief that “seeing” an aura really isn’t about using one’s eyes or normal senses. The Biofield is extremely low frequency and in actuality one interprets with their minds their understanding/sense into other senses.

The outer shell of Torc aura will contain surface thoughts like swirling eddies around the crown of his head. A Orange Red is suffused about his body, upon examination it has the feel of confidence and freedom of creative thought. However on the edges of the field one sees dark blue, which bleeds his fear of never belonging. The field extends about two feet around Torc’s body, it is denser then normal from the use of magicks, there also seems to be strange flecks gray upon his hands from magecrafting. Upon looking closely a silver bolt looking like a lighting strike shifts upon the crown of Torc’s head. Upon examination it seems to be a pathway between him and Kelwyn. The bolt is small and seems to be one directional of flow, showing that Torc puts a great deal of thought and time towards those Deities.

Upon allowing the field to dim, the more experience Auristic user will see primary energy budges. The first is upon the crown, within it is the symbol of Kelwyn and Isur. Silver energy from both streams form Torc to them. Like two whirling gears the energies mix with orange red can began to flow downwards. The second budges is in the middle of his eyebrows. The feel of vision and planning aligns with the above energy combining it into a sky blue, blacksmithing and magecrafting tools intermingle with the river of energy. Ideas generated from the needs around him were pushed forward in his mind, and glyphs of the ancient language. The third budge of energy seems to come from his throat, and seems smaller than the normal budge. Within the energy struggles from the above energies and the below, strength of conviction permeates that field, but desires from the heart muddy the cold blue with dark red. Within the field, a willow tree bends and moves as if in a tempest.

The fourth bulge seems to be on Torc’s heart, it is as large as the second bulge. Dark read stains everything, the feeling of desire for love, family, and belonging chokes the plain love and friendship. The image of an iron leaf with a gold ring on it lays heavy in his heart. The fifth bulge is under his sternum, the golden energies block the muddy red from the heart, while giving the sense of iron will. Cracks of self doubt vein throughout the golden pool. Slowly the flow of energy becomes less by the fifth bulge around the navel, the light of the energies seem to be dull and lack any movement, as if knots of normal emotions couldn’t escape from it. The last bulge is above his groin, the sexual energies seem red and active. However, the image of women become shifting but beauty is seen in all.
