Alley Brawl (Aello)

This woman would take a shoulder from a two hundred pound man and taunted him from not counter-attacking. Solomus just couldn't understand why she was so cocky. Was it just her personality or something different. He wouldn't know it was the dagger controlling her emotions, nor did he know her extreme hatred towards the Ebonstryfe. Even though he was beginning to learn it.

Aello ran forward again, dropping to a crouch when she came within striking distance. Solomus moved back with little grace, hoping to dodge the majority of the attack. But the tip of the blade diagonally across his abdomen about four inches. It wasn't deep, but it was a long wound. Thankfully it didn't bleed quickly. But it did agitate Solomus.

By now Aello was on her feet, her previous attacked aimed to go all the way up to Solomus' neck, and Solomus lunged forward. He jabbed with the head of his hammer, hoping to catch Aello in the gut. Regardless of whether it hit or not, Solomus would then contort his body as soon as his right arm was spread out completly, bringing his left fist at Aello with the intention of planting it upside her skull. He didn't care it it made her bruise. She deserved to suffer.

Because that was the thing of followers of Dira. They were the first that deserved to see her.

Alley Brawl (Aello)

Postby Aello on November 11th, 2011, 1:05 am

As her blade drew across the man's chest, a slender smile crept across Aello's face. It's but a taste of what is to come, she thought as she licked her lips and began to retreat, but it should satisfy one's hunger for a time... until we can finish what we have begun, and thoroughly quench the dagger's bloodlust. Her eyes sparkled mischievously, as Solomus' hammer caught the center of her left arm, sending a sharp, shooting pain through its entirety, while his left arm sailed past her head. Pushing aside air.

What a lovely opening, Aello thought, as she pushed her blade upwards, towards his outstretched arm, hoping to strike its underside, as she pulled herself away. She knew that the attack wouldn't inflict more than a minor flesh wound at best, but figured that it would be best to at least weaken his arms. After all, if he bled enough, his hands would soon lack the strength to maintain their grip upon his weapons. Thus, leaving him entirely defenseless, and completely at Aello's mercy.

The girl smiled wickedly as she danced away, pulling her blade away from Solomus' flesh. "Had enough yet?" Aello taunted, as she then sprang forward, past Solomus' left side. At the last second, she would push her blade backwards, hoping to strike somewhere along his back. More than likely close to its center, or around the left shoulder blade. It was in this way that she hoped to weaken him. To inflict more pain before she finished him off. After all, who didn't like to play a bit with their kill first?

After Aello had passed Solomus, and hopefully, sunk her dagger into his flesh, she would turn around on her heels to face any oncoming advances. If he took too long, she may try another attack, or beckon for him to come closer. She hadn't quite decided yet, which would please her or the dagger all the more.

Alley Brawl (Aello)

Postby Solomus Revon on November 13th, 2011, 7:32 pm

Solomus was sure if his commander was here watching the fight unfold, he'd kill the apprentice before Aello did. The top-knotted man shouldn't be beaten by a woman, and he would let him know it. But Solomus knew his commander might've trouble with this woman. She was quick, and better with her weapon than Solomus was. And as her blade sunk into the underside of his left arm, he knew she had inflicted more injury to him than he had to her.

The woman danced away, enjoying this as she continued to taunt him. She truly was enjoying this. And Solomus was going to enjoy breaking this woman's bones one by one as she screamed for mercy. Solomus had never practiced torture, so his techniques would be sloppy. But then it would never hurt him. Her pain he would inflict her in the near future was nothing to the scratch on his abdomen or the puncture wound in his arm. The blood she will spill would amount little to the blood Solomus was spilling now. This fight meant little to what Solomus had planned for Aello. And this fight would have no other outcome than Aello being torture until she begged to see Dira.

Solomus spit at the woman, an answer to her question, and the woman answered by running at him. She stepped by his left, her nimble hands already poised to strike him in the back once more. But again Solomus was ready for this move, and he twisted his body to the right so the blade would strike air. And he also swung his right body around for a counter-strike that couldn't come. Aello turned on her heels, ready for an attack. And Solomus was ready to give it to her.

Stepping forward, Solomus swung his hammer up for an uppercut, hoping to strike Aello in the jaw. He put his left arm on it, but since it was already injured, it didn't add much power. While it might not kill Aello, it would surely rattle her teeth to the core. And it was only the beginning of what Solomus had planned for her.

The move was a basic one. Something Aello saw often in bar brawls, or when people were fighting with little more than their fists. But Solomus carried a hammer, which not only slowed the movement of his arm, considering the weapon was heavier than mere flesh, but made everything all the more apparent. It was easy enough then, for Aello to merely back up a few steps, and then move over to the right, and be out of range of the man's weapon. She watched it arch up, through the air, displacing it angrily with a delicate whooshing sound.

He's going to have to do better than that, Aello thought, as she sprang forward once more, when the hammer was at its peak, brought as far towards the sky as it could go, by the arm of its master. As she drew closer, Aello pushed her dagger wielding arm out to the side of her body. When she was within striking range, she brought it inward, in a wide arc, towards her left shoulder. As she watched the blade move, she thought she could taste blood upon her lips. In just a moment, it will sever the ties that keep his head in place, Aello thought, as the metal twisted towards Solomus.

After Aello had brought the blade as far as it would go, she would cut across his body in another way, from the area around his shoulder to his hip. Lowering the blade in a diagonal line so that it could cut across his chest once more. Spill more blood. If he tried to attack her however, in the midst of all this, she would try to use her body or even the blade to block, if not step back from the fight completely, at least for a moment.

Alley Brawl (Aello)

Postby Solomus Revon on November 22nd, 2011, 12:54 am

As the fight continued, Solomus was beginning to go through a process he had never felt before. He felt that the decision to pick a fight with this woman was a mistake. Maybe it was the slow loss of blood from the wounds on his abdomen and arm that was clogging his judgement. His thoughts were clouded, fuzzy after slowly being worn down by Aello. But she struck first, so the blame couldn't be put on him. Not that it mattered. He could've beat her to within an inch of her life because she swung at him by accident and no one would care. But who could Solomus blame his death on but himself?

His uppercut seemed a stupid decision on the apprentice's part, missing horribly as she dodged out the way with ease. And this woman didn't seem to be fazed by the chimes piling up on each other. It seems she had fought in her share of fights, winning more often than not. And it seemed that she knew how to kill. Too bad Solomus had too much to live for.

The strike that was meant for his neck missed as Solomus leaned backwards out of the way. His large body wasn't as flexible as the woman, and he could do little but take some of the slash across his chest before stepping out of harm's way. The cut went across his left breast, stretching about three inches across. Maybe it formed an X with one of his wolf claw scars. He could check later. But for now, his life was on the line in a tug of war. And he was slowly being drawn forward to the losing line.

Solomus swung his hammer horizontally at Aello's head, hoping to knock it off of her neck. And while he did this, he brought his left knee up, hoping to hit her if she dodged or ducked out the way. And it wasn't until after this little combo before Solomus realized his second mistake. Because after this, the strength in his knees will give out, and he will fall into a crouch. At least that was what Solomus would say afterwards if he was given the chance. But in reality, his body was begging for mercy on its knees.

Alley Brawl (Aello)

Postby Aello on November 22nd, 2011, 4:43 am

Aello jerked her head back, out of reach of the war hammer. She could feel the large stone slab at the end push air past her head. Could feel her bangs lifting off her forehead, and fluttering angrily over her scalp, before settling back into her deep brown mane of hair. She could feel other portions slipping off her shoulders, suspended in space. She could see the weapon inch by, back towards the one that wielded it. She could feel the man's knee coming up towards her. The burst of air, but she did not have enough time to react to it. To move away, as she had done for the advance with the war hammer.

Within a fraction of a second, the apprentice's knee came tumbling into the center of Aello's chest. The impact caused her body to curl inwards, for her grip to loosen on her dagger, causing the hilt to slide around her sweaty palm before she tightened it again. It caused Aello to sharply release her breath, to lose everything she had once held in her lungs, as she stumbled a few steps back.

Oh for crying out loud girl, you're getting sloppy, Aello's brain scolded. Get yourself together, or he's going to be the one smearing your blood across the floor... along with every other man in Ravok who bothers to wander this way. Aello's eyes blazed as she straightened herself up, and got herself to quit backtracking. Got herself to stabilize her legs, her feet, to stand her ground.

Aello's thumb danced over the hilt of her blade, as she watched her opponent sink into a crouch. And here I thought he may be able to last a little longer. To enjoy this little game to the fullest extent, her brain whispered. To play for awhile. Oh, how very wrong I was...

The girl inched closer to Solomus. Watched as his fingers seemed to unfurl from his weapon. Seemed to cling to them again. He was wavering. Growing weak. They both seemed to know it. She leapt forward at the last second, twisting her blade towards his neck, before skipping a few steps back. "Had enough?" Aello asked, her voice playful, her eyes sparkling with the light reflected off her bloodied blade. She was holding it against her right side, against her thigh, waiting.

OOCI am a little confused, is he still on his feet but hunkered over in a crouch, or has he fallen to his knees?
