A city floating in the center of a lake, Ravok is a place of dark beauty, romance and culture. Behind it all though is the presence of Rhysol, God of Evil and Betrayal. The city is controlled by The Black Sun, a religious organization devoted to Rhysol. [Lore]

Clasping her hands around a pair of delicate dancer’s shoes, Eselle smiled. A memory unbidden from home and girlhood, she’d had a sister who danced so brilliantly it seemed the tides flowed for her. Sometimes the Konti wished she’d taken a simpler path, but that may not have changed her fate. Destiny was inevitable to the seeress, you could only prepare. She might have been a healer, a dancer, a fighter, or even a craftswoman. Instead, Eselle sought to divine the celestial weavings into a language understandable to mortals. Replacing the shoes the Konti moved on, meandering through the Odd’s and End’s, seeking something that caught her fancy.

Ten days now, the pale woman had survived in Ravok, seemingly without detection but her resolve was wearing thin. Her Call was unfulfilled yet, still she sought… uncertainty. Eselle knew only that she was in the proper place and somewhere in this treacherous venue held the answer to her Call. Passing beyond a wall of paintings, none of the colors or subjects particularly striking to a woman who had traversed reefs and the menagerie of brilliant sea life they contained, the konti came upon a boy. She had yet learned to fear even the children of Ravok, for indeed some could be as devious as their parents, and so was unafraid to approach him.

The seeress had been using her abilities as a fortune teller to come in contact with as many citizens as possible, the bonus being that a fortune teller ought to be mysterious. So far, her plan had worked to her advantage though even the naïve Konti knew time was her enemy here. The downside of course to approaching a child was he had a different perspective on her, she’d kept her white hood up which stop most adults from a clear view of her face but a child who looked up to her might catch the shimmers. Although she hadn’t the intention, for her skill in subterfuge was less than that of a firefly in a summer wood, her cloak’s snowy color gave her an air of innocence; the dangerous wore black. With a warm smile and a dulcet tone she addressed the boy quietly, “Oh, another fan of idle curiosities. Perhaps you might be curious enough to have your fortune told?
