Built high in the massive branches of Taldera's bloodwood forest, The Spires is a city crafted by the peaceful and scholarly Jamoura. Considered a haven for scholars and sages Mizahar-wide, The Spires is a mecca of philosophy and science that draws people from far and wide with its promise of deeper thinking and higher reasoning.

Along an animal trail that travels between The Base Camp and The Spires, is a field that used to house several large Bloodwood trees. However, during the Djed Storm of 512 several of the trees simply disappeared, leaving behind a perfect field. The Jamoura felt this area was a scar upon their pristine forest, and wanted to heal it.

The Hahk'Shatara, as well as several volunteers came up with a plan. They decided to turn the field into a burial ground for those that died during the Storm and the Fog that came with it. They buried each of their fallen brethren, and planted a Bloodwood sapling atop them, returning them back into Caiyha's cycle. Next to each tree is a wooden post buried within the ground. Each post has the fallen's name and a brief description of them carved beautifully into it. This ground is exceptionally sacred, and the Hahk'Shatara will protect it just as fiercely as they would the city or the Base Camp.

Lorng is one of the eldest of all Jamoura, and was around when Caiyha blessed their race. He's close friends with all of the elders and deacons, but has never chosen to join the Memory like all of the others. Instead, he acts as a father figure to most residents of the city. He knows the name of every Spirian that has ever lived since Caiyha made them aware. He knows every child that is born, every Jamoura that dies, every Kelvic that has lived a full life in the blink of one of his passive eyes. It has become a tradition for him to sit, with an audience of children and adults alike, and tell the stories of every person he's ever known. He knows the moments when a couple fall in love, to when a child has broken their arm, to the time him and Marn got in trouble way back when. He is currently overseeing The Scarlet Saplings, ensuring that the stories of those that have fallen, live on. He will gladly tell anyone, visitor and resident alike, the stories of his people, and lead them on tours of the saplings. He is old, and tired, but is never bitter, never weary of the many deaths he's seen through the countless years.

Moderator's Note: If you wish to have someone buried here, contact the Hahk'Shatara that monitor the area that protect it from grave robbers and other dangers.
