[Northern Wilds] No Rest for the Wicked [Shishi]

Mok ran like Myri herself was chasing him. He didn't let up for one moment at all. The last thing he needed was for Shishi to catch him. If that happened, his whole plan would be ruined and he wouldn't be able to introduce her to his world. Not the world of pain, darkness, and moral terror. No, he would not show her his evil side just yet. Instead, Mok was trying to show her what it meant to be Crimson. Maybe, if she was willing, the loyal gangster could impress her into understanding what he mean. If he was lucky, he might change her mind as well. Although he was barely getting to know the kelvic, he felt that no one should feel the need to hide their heritage on account of others. People who had a problem with him being myrian would pay the price, no matter what the cost.

Looking over his shoulder periodically, Mok could see that the young woman was slowly catching up to him. By now both of them were glistening with sweat. The myrian couldn't help noticing her breasts flopping up and down with each stride. Grinning ear to ear, he couldn't help thinking about her body. It wasn't Mok's fault though. Except for Carina and one or two others, there weren't many beautiful women in sunberth. Most of them looked like a pig shitted on them at birth and it just stuck.

Now they where within sight of the cliff now. He knew that the lioness had no idea what was going on either. By the look on her face, he knew that she was just enthralled with catching him. The myrian was getting tired too, so he decided to slow his pace down. That was a mistake, because the woman burst forward with speed and pounced like a big cat jumping on it's dinner. Fortunately for the half-blood, she was not in her animal form. Planting with his left foot and cutting to the right, Mok not only changed the pursuit angles but he managed to escape her grasp. On top of that, he was only a stone's throw away from the cliff that overlooked the ocean.

The cool thing about this spot was that from their viewpoint there was absolutely no way to see the ocean. In fact, from the angle it looked like a normal cliff with a normal rounded edge. Death and rocks the only thing waiting at the bottom. Mok knew different though.

Suddenly, the myrian stopped as rapidly as possible about forty yards from the edge. The tattoed kelvic's face lit up with excitement, or at least that's how Mok understood it. Waiting for the very last moment, the half-blood was planning on spinning out of the way so that she would fall on the floor. He had the uttermost confidence that he would dodge her.

Shishi was no idiot though. She knew how to hunt. Trying to tackle someone without breaking down and resetting would never ever work. So she slowed down too and waited infront of Mok. It was the final showdown.

Although out of breath, Mok pointed behind his back at the blue sky, "Look at the blue sky Shishi! Marval at it! Bask in it's glory! Watch as the white clouds pass by indifferent to the struggles of men and women and kelvics too! Feel the wind in your hair!? Feel the grass under your feet!? Then ask yourself: AM I A KELVIC? And if the answer is yes, follow me!"

And with that the myrian turned around, sprinted to the edge of the cliff, and jumped off feet first...

[Northern Wilds] No Rest for the Wicked [Shishi]

Dirt was plastered on the woman’s chin, but she tore after him. She gained momentum and it was as if her legs were moving themselves. She had tunnel vision now all she saw was the man ahead of her. She covered the distance between them rapidly as the wind whipped her hair into mats. Then he spoke.

He was shouting as he stopped by the edge. He told her to look at the nature around her and bask in its glory. He told her to feel the struggles. Then he asked if she was a kelvic and to follow him if she was. Then the man jumped. Shishi’s eyes went wide. She saw her surroundings in an instant but she couldn’t stop!

The woman ran through where he was just at just a split second ago. All she felt was air as she began to fall off the cliff. Time slowed for her.She screamed as her arms flailed in vein. Tears ran down her cheeks. She was going to die she knew it. Her body would be slammed against the jagged rocks and she’d be consumed by the water. Shishi hated water.

Blood flowed as Shishi cut her hand against a pointed rock. She had a grip on it, but gravity pried her hand away. She screamed again. Her hair whipped her face. Her life flashed before her eyes. She was too young to be gone forever. She didn’t look down just up at the sun. She reached towards it, but it didn’t move. Shishi continued to fall as she screamed.

[Northern Wilds] No Rest for the Wicked [Shishi]

Floating in the air for what seemed minutes, Mok finally started to fall. The air rushed around his body, funneling arond him in roaring gracing. The sensatioin of freefalling was amazing. Mok had uttermost confidence that he would land perfectly in the water. Flailing his arms and legs Mok yelled at the top of his voice, "HIYAAAAAAAAAAH!". For the next few seconds the myrian would be enjoy the sensation of being completely free! No fear, no worries, nothing but pure bliss. The endorphins in his body began to pump and adrenaline coarsed through his veins.

Shhuuufffuuupshhhhh!!!

Mok landed in the water feet first. The slap of the water on the heels of his feet and his arms was the only pain. Millions of tiny air bubbles escaped to the surface as he sunk into the ocean. He had the ultimate view now. The cold clear waters dropped many fathoms below him. Schools of fish swam below him and through him. Hundreds of slimy scales slid across his body. Kelp beds, sting rays, and brightly colored coral dotted the underwater landscape. It was a beautiful site indeed. Letting out a deep laugh, Mok wished for a moment that he could live her for the rest of his days.

Finally coming up for air, Mok swam out of the way so that Shishi could make the jump too...but where on earth was she? Still at the top maybe? If she had jumped then she would have fallen into the water by now.

"Shishi!!" Mok yelled. Floating on his back so that he could get a better view of the cliff, the myrian scanned for her. There was nothing but rocks and little shrubs her and there...and Shishi!! What the hell? The kelvic was hanging on by a fingernail on the edge of a protruding rock.

Mok was worried now. She was clearly not ready for this type of thing. What was Mok thinking? Not only was she probally brusied and scratched from grabbing the rock, but now she would probally fall into the rocky part of the ocean.

Flipping over on his stomach the myrian paddeled closer to the edge of the cliff, "Hold on!!" the myrian bellowed. Shishi could probally only hold on for one or two minutes tops. Swimming to the nearest kelp bed as fast as he possibally could, Mok grabbed hold of one of the plants and tried to pull with all his might. If he could get the lose bed over the rocks, it might mitigate some of the damage and perhaps leave her (mostly) unscratched.

"One, two, three," he counted and tugged on the kelp with all his might... Success. He was able to bring loosen the bed and with powerful stroke, Mok dragged it over the water right under Shishi.

"I believe in you Shishi! Jump!" He yelled. Maybe there was enough water to break her fall, but if all else failed the kelp would...some what... protect her.

[Northern Wilds] No Rest for the Wicked [Shishi]

Postby Shishi on April 16th, 2012, 6:46 am

Arms flailed and tears poured as Shishi fell. Flashes of her memory burst through her head like flickers of light. She cursed herself for not being able to hang on to the rock and she actually began to regret things she did and didn't do instead of simply thinking of what happened and what didn't happen. The woman wasn't ready to be gone. She was too young to not exist anymore. The woman couldn't comprehend how this could be happening.

Shishi knew and cared for Cade and she was justt starting to Mok and now it was over. Wait Mok, he's here. The woman's eyes went wide as she made impact. The water and something else slapped her. The woman had the wind knocked out of her as water covered her.

Shishi's body was still. The impact was a shock on her whole system, and then the woman realized she wasn't dead. She tried to regain her barings. Her legs kicked and her hands clawed for the surface. Shishi hated water.

With a struggle Shishi got her head out of the water. She gasped as her body greedly guzzled the air. Her arms flailed wildly around her. The woman cried out for Mok as she looked around wildly. Then she saw him. She looked into his calming eyes and she tried to smile. She tried to force her panicked movements into a "doggy pattle" type of swimming and stretched her hand out towards him.

[Northern Wilds] No Rest for the Wicked [Shishi]

Mok and Shishi swam to the shore as quickly as they possibally could. The didn't wait for the kelvic though, instead he swarm ahead to the shore. Right near the cliff that they jumped off of was a soft, white sanded beach, only about fifty yards in length and around fifty yards in depth. Luckily, it was low tide so they would be able to enjoy the sands for a few more hours before they would have to leave. Mok ran up the sand and plopped down on the floor. These wet cloths wouldn't do though. Casting off his cotton shirt and his trousers, the myrian laid in the sand butt ass naked. He didn't really care if Shishi saw him or not. He grew up his whole life in the Faylndar and being naked was no big deal to him at all.

Mok closed his eyes. He didn't even look up to see what would no doubtedly be a miserable face on the girl. When Shishi finally emerged from the water, she would see him. Mok had several brutal scars literred about his body from various wounds that he had suffered in the past. The worst one was the stab wound on his stomach. Even now the jagged line could be seen on his bronze skin. He also had a couple of arrow wounds on his arms. Mok's had a hardened body and this was apparent.

Streching his arms, the myrian waited for the lioness to join his side. He wondered how she would react to his naked body, but this ponderous nature quickly passed, "Shishi, enjoy the breeze and enjoy the sunlight for a minute..." Mok would just chill and relax for a bit before trying to talk to her about what just happened. He wanted her to sit and reflect a moment before bombarding her with new ideas.

"What did you think of that?" Mok said ignoring the fact that what just happened must have been a traumatic experience to the kelvic. Sitting up Mok looked her in the eyes and began to converse.

[Northern Wilds] No Rest for the Wicked [Shishi]

Postby Shishi on April 17th, 2012, 10:52 pm

Shishi's hand touched air as Mok took off swimming. Shishi tried to regain her composure. The man was a good swimmer, something the woman was not.She struggled behind him and all she could think about was not being in the water anymore. Oh, how she hated water. She would never win the gamble now.

The woman's arms and legs moved in an inexperienced manner as she struggled to the shore. She tried her best to keep her head above the water as she eyed the goal. Finally she made it and she clung to the land. It was sandy and the sand got all in her hair, but it was solid. She stood up to brush herself off, and her cheeks went pink.

Right next to her, was Mok. His eyes were closed and his clothes were off. An embrassed grin spread across her face, as she just stared. Her eyes wandered up and down his body taking in his muscular frame. Her face was cherry red now, she hadn't seen many men naked and those she had really weren't anyone she had known. She didn't really notice the scars he had, but she did forget about the water.

Mok spoke but Shishi wasn't paying attention. Her eyes were just wandering. The woman tried to ignore that he was naked and clear her mind so she could have a normal social interaction with him. But, what did he say?

The man sat up now and Shishi watched his muscles work. Then, she snapped her eyes back to her face. The woman was really making herself look stupid now. She had to say something. Shishi kept her eyes locked on Mok's face as she ran her hand through her hair. She involuntarly was orienting her body towards him. "Um I guess, I lost the bet,but um what exactly did I bet." Was that an appropriate response? The woman didn't know because she didn't hear him, but she kept her eyes from wandering
