A Couple of Idiots (Ella Dives)

Elaa is being mugged on a night in Sunberth. What is a lady doing out at night in Sunberth? She's obviously stupid. Anavis decides to play hero. In Sunberth? She's stupid, too.

3rd of Winter 512AV

Anavis sighed. She had just opened her eye only seconds ago and she glanced outside, to see the sun has set. She stretched, her back a bit sore from the hard ground, despite the fact her body had been laid on it only moments before. Anavis detested how Sivana refused to shift into her animal form to rest, thinking she was more vulnerable, or spend money on an inn, opting to save her money for when she might really need it with her lack of income. She couldn’t stand being cooped in the ground all night. She had allowed Sivana some time to rest her body but it made her restless. She was buzzing in her own skin and needed to moved, have some exercise, something!

She hopped up, taking her pack with her. She walked around for a bit, staying far from lit places and staying in the shadows. She’d rather not be seen on this cold night. It had a rather ominous feeling and she’d rather not do anything to tip the scales against her. There were already drunken men in the streets this early in the night and she could see someone breaking into a house across the street. Avavis still felt unsafe in the streets but she’d rather feel unsafe than stare up at the same sky for hours on end. She tried to move as quietly as possible, which was rather easy for her. She seemed to flit like a bird from place to place.

She had only been exploring the streets for an hour when she heard gruff voices coming from the alley she was about to pass. She moved slower than before, wondering if she should turn around. It was the sound of a distressed woman that propelled her forward. She pressed her back flat against the wall, grateful for her dark clothing and the cover of night. She peered into the alley, wanting to observe the situation before she decides to do something stupid and play hero.
A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song. ~Chinese Proverb

I might not post for a few days. I'm sick, unfortunatly. I can barely type right and walk in a straight line. See you when I'm better :)
