Roka looked at her with an inquisitive frown. "No. I don't need your coin." he heaved a sigh at finding their conversation dwindling. He was sure any abundance of coin she had was at the hands of her deceased sparring partners. The very thought was a bit disconcerting, that they could be so very similar in race and species, and yet galaxies apart in nature and understanding.

Before any more words could be exchanged an unexpected presence had approached and acclaimed them family. His brows furrowed at the sound, ready to hush him quickly and be down with it his hand itched for his blade, but then pulled away, waiting to better assess him. An unexpected "...what?" pulled from his throat.

"A good couple...." he repeated in silent shock that quickly turned to distaste at the observation and he found himself adding distance from himself and the other Kelvic girl. "Still not quite good friends." he muttered to himself.

Fame in Blood (Open)

Postby Aerika on April 28th, 2012, 11:27 pm

Aerika was quick to turn to the newest voice, a voice that she had not yet heard before, and even more impressed that she did not notice his presence until he spoke. She gave him a strange look, he called them names that a family would, as though they were of the same house. He was taller than her like so many were, and he had an odd appearance, even his tone was strange. Aerika was about to ask him a question when she remembered Roka. She quickly turned back to him to notice he too was giving him a strange look, even heard him whisper something that was probably for himself. Aerika looked back to the new man, still trying to figure him out, understand him, even learn more about him, but all she could smell was water, and all she could see was a normal human.

"I'm a little confused, I don't know you, but you called me your sister?" she asked tilting her head. Her eyes were fixed on him, thinking back to what he said just moments ago. "And what do mean 'of the wild'? I live in Sunberth, I haven't been in the trees for a long time now." Aerika tried to only ask the important questions, but with so many things being said that she was unsure of, she was forced to ask. The drizzle of rain grew slightly, turning into a soft, constant rain. Each drop of rain making her Kelwyn-mark twinkle with its own light only for the instant that the drop touched her skin. Her dress was still clinging to her skin, her feet being tickled by the water that bounced back up after landing on the ground.

Fame in Blood (Open)

Postby Graecus Kaer on April 29th, 2012, 2:01 am

Graecus was expecting to startle them and wasn't surprised that the male grabbed for his blade at first. He would have too, if the roles were reversed. He smiled miscellaneously at the male's reaction to his remark. Graecus opened his arms wide, not to hug or embrace but, to show himself and all that he was, with a smile on his face as the rain drizzles onto his arms and face. "My mistake, let me introduce myself. My name is Graecus Kaer, a Kelvic, just like the two of you." Graecus out his hands back to his sides as he leaned against the close by building. "The reason why I call you brother and sister is not because of family descent, but because the blood of the wild, the ability to shift from human to animal, and animal to human, runs between us." He folded his arms across his chest and tilted his head against the wall just above his shoulder.

Graecus smiled and closed his eyes to think for a second and then snapped them back up. "Let me tell you a bit about myself, well besides my name, you already know that. I am a Kelvic." He put his index finger on his free arm on his chin, just below his lip. "I said that already didn't I? Oh well. I was born and raised here in Sunberth. Now about that statement I said a few moments ago. You two look like you have some deep hidden feelings for each other."
