"Oh, I can have you living out of your means just for my ammusment. Don't worry, you don't need to buy a bow. Let's just go to the pits then." Ma'adele stood and straightens out the bunched up fabric of her cotton skirt then heads for the door after gathering up her possessions. She eleigantly wrapped the strap of her waterskin over her right shoulder to keep it handy. She did it right in Kanri's view to try to reasure her she will stay hydrated. The room was getting rather warm due to both of their breathing, too much so to Ma'adele's liking. She was rather impatient and active unless she had a painting in her hands.

Kanri led her new friend through the halls of Wind Reach. While they were probably vast and strange to outsiders, having lived in them all her life they were easy to navigate. She wondered if there were other cities and towns where everything was easier to navigate. Not that Wind Reach was hard, but perhaps there were cities with easy to follow streets that led exactly wherever you happened to be going. She wanted to see that someday if it were possible.

They got to the Pits. No one was fighting there at the moment but there were still a fair number of poeple there. Kanri sat the two down in the back on the fourth wall with the benches carved out of stone. They still had a pretty good view of any match that might take place soon. To fill up the time, Kanri asked her Konti friend another few questions.

"Do the Konti fight often? And what do they fight with when they do?" Kanri asked, curious about the foreigner's fighting methods.
