Her legs are fairly long and her waist fairly small, with narrow hips. Her shoulders are ever so slightly broader than the norm due to her practicing swordsmanship and her hands and palms are calloused and dry. Jaspers skin is tanned a light bronze colour from her many years in the wilderness, riding and training. Her hair is brown and long, and she tends to wear it in a simple braid down her back, foregoing the elaborate designs of other women for a quick and easy fix. She has her mothers eyes, wide and storm cloud grey, surrounded by a thin layer of lashes. Her windmarks are simple and elegant, winding down her back in strands of knotwork.

She adores horse and anything concerning them. Being the only girl amongst her three brothers she is fairly tomboyish in her demeanor. Where other women her age enjoy wearing dresses and chatting with their friends, Jasper much prefers to be out and about, exploring and riding with her bonded strider, Maro. She is proud and can be stubborn when she is certain that she is right. Loyal to a fault and brave to the point of stupid Jasper is continuously getting herself into trouble, though she is usually able to resolve the problem before anything extreme happens. Family is one of the most important things to her, as well as honesty. Character History Jasper was born and raised in the Diamond Pavilion, Endrykas. Her mother was the first wife of her father, who died when Jasper was only a few years old. Being the youngest and only girl out of four children, Jaspers mother, Annia yearned for her daughter to marry and would not miss an opportunity to attempt to get Jasper to marry. Jasper refused each time, putting it off and focusing on doing the things she loved. Because of this Jasper has little experience with men and courtship. She harbors a strong bond with her brothers, few of which she see's any more as they have dedicated their time to starting their own families and businesses. Towards the end of Winter 512 AV, Jaspers eldest brother, Duncan, was killed in a hunting accident. Heart broken Jasper found that Endrykas, the moving city that had been the only home she had ever known, was considerably grey without her vibrant brother. World shaken and no longer able to keep a straight thought when surrounded by so many painful reminders she, with her bonded strider Maro, left Endrykas to travel to Riverfall and make a new life, supporting herself.

Companions, Possessions, Housing and Ledger Companions Maro Jasper meet Maro when she was 15. She had had a fight with her mother, and resolving to run away from home and live by herself she had packed her things and left her pavilion and the city. She lasted only three days, when on the night of the third day a large storm rolled over the plains of Cyprus. Cold, wet and hungry Jasper huddled at the base of a large tree, oblivious to the fact that her brothers and a good amount of the Diamond Pavilion was out searching for her. As she sat alone and wept Maro approached her and, seemingly taking pity on the small, young girl, allowed her to climb onto his back. Her brothers eventually found her, soaked, cried out and clinging to the back of a strider. Over the next few months Jasper bonded with Maro and the two are practically inseparable. Maro's personality is very much like his riders in that he is very proud and curious. He is very stubborn and competitive. Pippa Pip is Jasper's Sykanis pup. She bought him to keep rats out of her tent without realizing that he had to be fully grown and trained to know how to hunt effectively. For now he is simply her companion.
