Hi! Just found Mizahar via Google, and it seems like a nice place to settle down in.

I'm 25, and have been roleplaying for about 5 years now, though I've been writing fiction of my own for around 14 years. Wow, I suddenly feel really old... I prefer writing in the third person limited, with a lot of atmosphere narration in the beginning of the thread. I'm a HUGE fan of character art, and will be getting that as an essential part of my character sheet. I also absolutely love writing evil characters. Rosel, the girl who will my exclusive character here, has had 4 previous incarnations in roleplaying, and is always varying levels of personally unpleasant. Each time I start anew with her, I think she's going to end up with the same personality as before, but she takes me somewhere new every time.

Before this, I roleplayed almost entirely on Gaiaonline, with a brief, unsuccessful stint on another site similar to Mizahar. The world there was a bit more combative than I was a fan of, so it didn't last long. On Gaia, roleplaying worlds ended often, so I'm hoping Mizahar will be a long-term stay.

I love the depth and amount of thought that's gone into Mizahar, though the navigation of getting from article to article is a bit tricky.

Lastly, as for what I'm looking for here: I suppose my main hope is that the world will be a long term writing outlet, without the fear of the world being abandoned by writers and mods. In terms of in-character hopes, I suppose I have the same hope as everyone - to slowly create someone important to the world of Mizahar. The most fun I've ever had roleplaying was when my character happened into a position of importance in a metaplot arc. I've never had such fun since, but I hope to create that here, admittedly over a long course of time.
