Chase didn't know what to do. He'd spent a whole season in this place, and he still had no idea who he was supposed to be. He'd been quietly biding time, trying to find out what he knew of himself. For some reason, this place didn't seem to be a part of himself, except possibly in personality. All he knew was that he didn't know anything. He was angry. He was upset. He was lost.
He began again what he'd been doing for the past season. What did he know? His father was human, his mother was Zith. The gauntlets he now had, edged and with retractable spikes, were from his weak human father, the only thing he every got. After that.... Waking up in a tent. In this cesspool of life, of anger, and of nothing else. It suited his almost perpetual mood, anger. He didn't know where he was going to go, but he was going to go somewhere. Time to get information. He went out of his tent, one of many in this tent city. He made his way to a tavern. He didn't know which tavern it was, and he really didn't care. All he knew, was that there were people there, people with information. Information he was going to get.
He made his way to the Pig's foot Tavern, and tossed a Miza for a drink, a strong one. Chase chugged it down in just a few, before slapping it against the bar and leaving it. Then he stood up to his full height, and began his questioning.
The only connection he had was that he was half-Zith, and he had to work off that. Thankfully, he got information off of that little detail. There was a Zith near the city limits. And where there was a Zith, there must have been information for himself. He left the tavern, without even causing any trouble. He was too determined to find information about himself.
Apparently, this zith, "Musca", lived in a dank and death smelling cave. Which was fine, because it perfectly fit his abilities, and his attitude. He came close to where it was supposed to be abouts. His hearing picked up a faint scratching sound, and his eyes found the entrance to the cave. Time for a meeting. He entered the cave. |
