Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

Taith had decsended down to through the cliffs to the water lapping at the shores of the cliff. He stood looking at the water for a long moment remembering. He still remembered the feel of it against his skin at the initial impact. It had saved him and yet challenged him. He could only imagine the damage done if he hadn't landed in the water.

He stepped onto the sand having slipped off his boots. He once again felt the sand beneath his feet and the crystalin pebbles began to move to allow his feet to sink. The sun was still up as he stood there, but would soon be giving up domion of the sky in favor of the moon. He slipped out of the rest of his clothing to allow the last rays of the suns warmth to wash over his sapphire blue skin.

So it was that as Syna set and Leth rose in the sky Taithrosa began to change. It was a strange and glourious sight to behold. His hair seemed to ruessel in some unknown breeze, and the black roots turned to a bluish silver and spread upwards to the end of his hair. Slowlly as if made of starlight his horns began to appear. They were crystal white and seemed to glow in the evening light.

The greatest change was to his skin though. The dark blue, almost black skin began to lighten and glow. It was universal across his body slowlly changing. The color spectrum changed fading to a heavenly brilliances. Soon he was glowing with a soft light. It seemed as if his skin reflect the light from the moon itself, glowing with a inner beauty. His eyes were the final change. While always silver it seemed as if someone had turned on the furnance and now they were flowing like molten silver.

Slowlly he raised his arms with his palms out towards the sky. It was the first time in ten grueling days that he finally did what he should have a long time ago.

He raised his voice in prayer.

"Leth, my Master and Lord, I pray to you this day as your domion of the sky begins. I seek your help and guidences. I understand that you have sent me hear for a reason, and I will strive to understand and achieve that reason, but I ask that they blessing be with me this day, and all days I am upon Mizahar doing they work." His liquid silver eyes looked up at his god, tears at the edges as he wished he could say it like it needed to be said. In the heavenly tongue.

He stayed there for a moment before stepping into the water and swimming out a bit. His muscles moved with the water until he found himself a safe distants out. He rolled over and allowed himself to float on the water. It was quiet out here, the sound of lapping water just an echo in the distant. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Turning his world inwards. He cleared his head of all thoughts. It was difficult but would be worth it.
Do you think that you could ever, Through all eternity,
Find out the generation Where Gods began to be?
Or see the grand beginning, Where space did not extend?
Or view the last creation, Where Gods and matter end?
Me thinks the Spirit whispers, “No man has found ‘pure space,’
Nor seen the outside curtains, Where nothing has a place.”

Taithrosa lay on his back, his bluish silver hair flowing in a fan around his head, his horns shimmering in the moonlight. His liquid silver eyes looking up towards his god in the sky. He lay there at peace. He could feel his body relaxing, and his mind began to clear, but not in the correct way. It was clearing towards a type of sleep, but not towards meditation.

He continued to look up at Leth his eyes following the lines along the surface. He allowed his mind to work with out focusing on anything in his mind. It also helped to fight the sleep away.

He cleared his mind of all the stray thoughts. He coutined to follow lines as he focused on cleaning his mind. It was almost like a child trying to clean his room shoving the junk into the closet.

The Splash of Memory

As he staired into the sky it he felt as if his mind was begining to clear. He contiuned to push the thoughts away. He wasn't being haunted by memories as he layed there enjoying the peace of his mind. To be free of the chaos that was hid mind.

As he lay there he breathed in deeply, and breathed out slowlly. He could feel the barriers built around his mind. They were designed to keep order and peace in his mind. It was the way he had always worked through out his lives. He had been through countless events in his life and they were trying to overwhelm him, but he was going to set them at bay.

As he lay, his eyes stairing upwards, he felt as if he was floating above himself. He focused and felt as if everything inward was clearing allowing him to move around once again in his mind. He did do much beyond that just enjoyed the peace that was around him. The walls were a wooden pallaside at best, barely keeping out the ocean of lifetimes. He knew that he would have to struggle each day against that flood, but he enjoyed the peace that he felt now.

As he lay there he was floating slowlly towards the shoar his eyes rolled back as he looked towards the inwards. He was so focus inwards that he didn't feel as he came to rest on the sand, and still he focused inwardly trying to stem the tied of memories.

The Splash of Memory

As his body lay on the shifting sand the crystal structure flowed around his naked flesh. His beautiful skin was glowing in the moonlight as the water washed over him. His hair was spread around him the sand crystals reflecting there own light as his silver eyes were rolled up his mind turned inwards.

He sat as if in the middle of nothing, just floating there his mind blank. He felt as if was at peace once again, he had spent many years thinking and pondering. He didn't remember those times, but this was something that felt natural to his soul something that allowed for his mind and spirit to meld together, and control the physical.

He knew that in his true immortal form he was far more powerful then when he was in his Akalak form. His mind was at its strongest when he was a son of Leth, then during the hours of Syna. He felt the peace and tranquility and allowed them to dominate. He knew that this was only tempurary but it was a start. A start to hold back the world of memories.

His silver eyes slowlly returned to there normal positions as his mind was once again opened to the daily thoughts. He stood the water casecading down his silvery naked body. He smiled up at the moon. There was much work yet to do but it was a start. He would returned tomorrow. He walked away much of the night gone, feeling rested and relaxed.

The Splash of Memory

Postby Taithrosa Eldytia on April 29th, 2010, 3:29 am

The next evening found him sitting once again at the shore of the water watching as his gods once again accessnded the heavens. He felt the change come over him again. His navy blue skin slowlly began to lighten changing to a pale that slowlly began to glow with a brilliance that could only be compared to that of the moons light. His silver eyes gained even greater depth as they took on the look of molten silver.

He didn't feel any pain as his horns appeared, but he could tell that they had appeared. He felt completely different standing there glowing as a son of Leth. His body was naked once again and so there was nothing to hide the glow as he sat on the beach looking upwards. The day had been hard. Trying to adjust and to control the wash of memeories that always threatened to overwhelm him.

He slowlly stood up the muscle of his body moving with a smooth grace. As he stood there he stretched his body to its fullest so that his muscle would be loss for his meditation. That was a big difference about meditation in the heavens and meditation down here. The physical tended to act as a distraction.

So he stepped into the water but this time he only walked until the water was to his thighs and then he stopped. He lowered himself into the water so that it splashed just below his chest. He held his back straight and folded his legs so that he was sitting with his knees pointing out and his feet together. He rested his hands on the surface of the water just letting them float there. Others may have found his choice of location odd, but it helped his feel like he was floating in the realm of his god again.

He tilted his head upwards his silver eyes seeming to reflect the light from the heavens. He slowed his breathing, keeping in time with the waves that moved against his flesh. In and out, In and out. His mouth was only slightly open as he allowed his body to begin to calm. As the demands from his body began to lessen he could feel those thoughts begin to fade to the back of his mind. Taithrosa understood that the body did demand a lot of attention but he could tell that this form was different. He could feel the energy being restored to his body from the moon, and so once again felt the superiority of this form.

And so as his body settled in he turned his thoughts inwards.

The Splash of Memory

Postby Taithrosa Eldytia on May 1st, 2010, 2:51 am

The water splashed around the Ethaefal. It created an interesting image as he sat there meditating. His body with its moon like glow seemed to create a sphere of light around him in the water. The images moved and shimmered in the water also marking him as he sat cross legged in the water.

Inside his mind he was clearing a space for his soul to rest. He wasn't trying to organize his whole mind; that would be to much effort, he was trying to clear out a space for him in the chaos of a thousand life times. He breathed deeply his eyes stairing upwards towards the moon. He turned all of his focus inwards letting the world just be around him.

His breathing was coming in and out slowlly and antimatically, and his silver eyes began to roll upwards and he focused. Taithrosa set up mental barriers around his mind to allow himself peace and quiet. He could tell that the walls were like a dame, appearing strong but the pressure against them was huge. He knew that he would soon have to allow relief of some of the presure but not yet.

He felt again could feel the vastness of his mind so large and so capable. His mind seemed to shrink during the day to that of a mortal, but this immortal mind was vast and beautiful. He knew that here was power and talent, and that he would be able to do much with it.

He made up his mind and looked at the wall and created a spill way to allow memories to once again intdrude the peace that he had formed into his mind. It was as if a gentle bubbling stream was created in his mind next to him. He found that it seemed to releave some of the pressure on the back of mind. As he watched he found that he was curious about the memeories that floated there and wondered what they feld.

So he stepped into the water, feeling the spalsh of memory against the counciousness.

The Splash of Memory

Postby Taithrosa Eldytia on May 7th, 2010, 9:35 pm

As he walked into the wash of memories he just relaxed allowing them to flow past him. There was to many to pick them up, but it seemed as if the structure was working. He could feel himself relaxing. The pressure was still behind the mental dame, but the simple spill way he had constructed help the structure gain stability. As he stood in the stream of memories he could see the flashes, but it wasn’t overwhelming it was like a pleasant time flipping through a picture book.

As he sat there he noticed one floating towards him. It was like a shinning blob. Shapeless, but beautiful. He extending his long fingers and captured the image as it floated towards him. It sat in his hands for a moment glowing, and then seemed to skin into his glimmering skin, and he felt a memory return.

It was during his time in the realms above. Time was ageless there so he couldn’t have told you when it was as a memory. He was walking through the realms of Leth. The beauty around him was beyond description and otherworldly. Yet it felt more peaceful and like home then any place on Mizahar had ever.

He walked among others who appeared to be at peace. It was strange there appeared to be physical bodies around him but they weren't the same as what he walked among now. It was almost like a music filled the air, nothing concreate but peaceful and soothing.

He paused as he saw one of his sisters meditating. He would say she was sitting on the ground but rules such as ground weren't real here they were more like gide lines. As he looked at the daughter of Leth he felt her voice in his head but yet around him as well.

"Have you ever experienced the joy of Meditation." She asked him. The words she used were exalted and beautiful spoken in a toungue that was so above the mortal speach. Taithrosa didn't realizes it but his body arched briefly with longing to hear those words again. In his memory though he tilted his head and blinked at his sister.

He felt her call him over. He joined here not really walking, but in the mortal tongue it was the best word he could use. He felt her contiune to communicate with him and joined her. "Meditation allows you to open your mind to so many possibilities. Even here in the presences of our father it is possible to expand one's mind." Taithrosa nodded his head.

He "sat" down next to here and folded his legs together placing his feet together, and pressing his knees down to the ground. He didn't really close his eyes since that was a action of the mortal world, and here he was above that. So he closed his eyes and felt his mind open to the possibilities.

He suddenly felt the memeory slam shut as it ended, and felt his mental barriers begin to collapse around him. He tried to fight against the collapse but felt his meditation end and his eyes widened as he gasped for breath, pulling his mind back from the flood that overcame his memories.

He contiuned to breath as the water splashed against his skin cooling it and giving him something real to grab onto. He blinked his liquid silver eyes slowlly coming back into focus as he stood up.

The Splash of Memory

Postby Taithrosa Eldytia on May 11th, 2010, 7:22 pm

Taithrosa returned to the beach for a third evening in a row. He stood on the shores before Syna had sunk below the horizon. His silver eyes looked over the water reflecting the colors of the clouds. His saphire skin seemed and odd contrast to the bright eyes and the sand all around him.

He slipped out of his clothing and layed down on the sand allowing the warmth of the rocks flow into his skin from below and allowed the warmth from the sun to cover him like a blanket. So it was that he lay there for the duration of the setting of Syna. As with each night his skin changed shade leaving his glowing like a firefly. A son of Leth here upon Mizahar again.

His eyes opened, changed from solid silver to a molten color that seemed to move as he looked around. He stood, the well shaped muscles in his legs moving and stretching. That was how to describe his whole body, well muscled and strrong, but it wasn't that part of his soul that Taith was here for, but instead he was here to continue to exercise his mind.

He stepped into the water his foot make ripples around were it had entered and he contiuned to take step after step into the water until he was deep enought. He sat down and crossed placed the balls of his feet together. He lowed his knees down as far as they would go and then rested his hands on the surface of the water allowing them to float there. As he did so he tilted his head back and staired up into the moon.

Taithrosa once again stepped into the realm of his mind and looked around. It was like a drowned plain. Only the some of the land stood above the water barely visibile above the memories that flooded the area. Through meditation Taithrosa had come to realizes that there wasn't much that he could do to regain all of his memory, mortal forms weren't ment to hold the complete memeories of a thousand life times.

In this form he was far more capable to handle the memeories, and to reoranize his mind, but like the celestial language that he had once spoken it was impossible now to do more then just remember it in his head. He once again began to clear his mind of all thoughts building a barrier between the core of his mind and the chaos in the surronding regions. He was to clear his mind and protect it from chaos.

The Splash of Memory

Postby Taithrosa Eldytia on May 11th, 2010, 8:37 pm

Taithrosa didn't know how long he spent sitting in the water his mind was in its other worldly place trying to organize his mind. He had created a barrier against the flood of memeories. Around him was the core of his mind and his being.

He focused on the barrier recreating the one he had build last time. He was growing tired of the flood of memories that constantly seemed to overcome him. He was master of his mind and the memories were not. He now realized he wouldn't ever get the full picture of his memeories returned to him, but he knew that it would be possible to gain some control over them. And so he was meditating day after day. His body entering a sleep like trances as he focused his mind inward towards all that dwelt inside.

His eyes were rolled back and the waves moved against his skin. He didn't feel it though as his soul was focused upon his mind. He sat there hold position his spin straight and his hands resting on the surface of the water.

Inside his mind the dame had been rebuilt and sheered up with only the one spill way to allow some of the pressure to relent. He watched the streem once again seeing the flashes of memeories as they flowed by so peaceful but so powerful. He knew that stream of memeories was a strong force to be deal with and could sweep one away if one wasn't careful.

So he stepped away and returned to the middle of the medow feeling intune with his inner self. He enjoyed the feelings of peace and tranquility. After a while he felt himself return to his body, but he had managed to keep the barrier in place felt an inner peace.

He stood up from the water, water cascading down his well shaped body. His molten silver eyes looked at his master and smiled, grateful to finally have found some peace of mind. He walked back through the water, the inner light of his skin allowing him to see by and the reflecting of the waters around him. Once back to the shore he layed out again allowing the little warmth left in the sand to fill his body and waited for his skin to dry before placing his clothing back on.

I like how you incorporated him being unable to clear his mind and suppress his memories, it was both interesting and a good display of his skill level. But be sure to watch out for homophones!
