Good morning! As you can see, I do not have a name for my character as of right now, but that doesn't mean I can't introduce myself. I go by "Cyrus" on the Internet (I don't give out my real name), so I guess that's what you can call me. Anyway, I found this list of questions for newbies, so I figured I'd better just use that for simplicity's sake.

1. Name? Cyrus.
2. What sort of RP experience do you have if any? Two years, multiple sites/themes and plenty of teaching and being taught.
3. How did you find us? Google The great finder of things.
4. What sort of RP style is your favorite? Fantasy. Particularly non-stereotypical fantasy, which is why I'm joining this site.
5. What do you like to write about - not write about? I like to write about most anything. Don't like writing anything explicit, though. I myself choose not to curse, that's just how I roll, but I don't mind those who do (Unless it's really over the top). I also don't write about inappropriate themes, nor will I participate in a thread in which they occur. That is my policy. I understand that Dhani and other shapeshifters have a tendency to end up nude and I understand that people have to have children Somehow, but that doesn't mean either of those things need to be described.
6. Whats your favorite thing about Mizahar so far? The detail and the uniqueness. I would've joined because of the uniqueness alone, but the detail is like an added bonus.
7. What, if anything, has frustrated you about Mizahar so far? Well, I would say that the most frustrating thing so far has been trying to come up with a name for a male Dhani, but that's not actually a problem with Mizahar, rather a problem with me. The main problem I have with Mizahar, really, is that it's sort of overwhelming/complicated. Although this makes it confusing (for me), it also means that I'll never get bored with it, so it's a good and bad thing. I'm sure once I've been here a while, it'll become more familiar.
8. What would you like out of the mizahar experience? Unique, enjoyable, quality roleplaying.
9. Is there anything you'd like to see expanded? I think if there were anymore expansion, the site might explode.
10. Anything else you want to talk about? Yeah, can someone please help me with a name for my character? It just has to be a full name for a male Dhani. I stink at coming up with names.

Hey! Welcome to the game Cyrus!

When I first joined, I quickly learned that jumping right into the rp is sometimes the best way to learn the lore. As I research stuff for plot ideas I learn more about the game through reading specific lore. I would suggest not getting too entrenched in the lore and focuson making a character concept you would enjoy to play This technique really worked for me, perhaps it might help you? Either way I just thought I would share that with you, but do it however is more comfortable to you. Sometimes new players get discouraged because the size of the lore

Thanks for the pointer, Imass. I'll try to not get buried in all of the specifics and just focus on making my character and getting into some threads.

As for the name suggestion, I like it, but I don't think that would qualify as an actual Dhani name. The Dhani have specific methods for naming. I think I'll go ask for suggestions on the Q&A board.
