Hallo there, and let me be the first to welcome you to the wonderfulness that is Mizahar! (Such a beautiful name, I agree.) So, onto the advice . Obviously, reading over the PM (private message) you got from 'admin' on joining is a great starting point, followed up by the Starting Guide. Don't get overwhelmed or disheartened by all the sections; just take it bit by bit and before long you'll find everything falls into place . The wiki, too, is a splendid resource - don't be afraid of its size (you don't have to read all of it to play well). Consult it when you need to (or when you're bored) and you'll be fine. I recommend reading over the Race List and the City List to get a feel for the race and culture you're playing as, as well as the various starting locations. (Since your location says 'Wandering around Lhavit', may I congratulate you on an excellent choice? . Still a good idea to check those lists out if you haven't done so already, just in case you want to change your mind.) If you have a question that isn't answered anywhere (that you can see), don't hesitate to ask one of the Storytellers (they're the people with the coloured names). They're all lovely to a fault, in my experience, and only too happy to help clarify and explain things. Alternatively, you could always pop into Chat - it's usually got some veteran Miz players hanging around there who'll be only too happy to advise you, too. My last little titbit of advice is: don't be afraid to PM other players with thread ideas! The worst that can happen is they'll say 'I'm sorry, I'm too busy right now. Perhaps we could thread at a later date?' or 'I don't think that'd really fit in with my character. Perhaps we could change your idea slightly?' With regards to names, 'Zennika' and 'Kemai' were the ones that leapt out at me - but that's just personal taste . On roleplaying - well, it's not just finishing a person's previous story. On this site, at least, it's slipping into the skin of your character and writing snippets of their daily life, their trials and tribulations, as well as their interaction with others and the epic quests our Storytellers dream up for their regions. Take a look at some of the many, many fine threads scattered across the forum to get an idea of what people are doing.
