While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

40th Fall, 512 A.V.

On this day the sun was particularly brighter than usual, it was odd how the clouds could move so freely unhindered by the suns blinding glory, it was fascinating how things went unchanged in this surreal coexistence the sun and clouds had. Noaru was an odd entity who noticed these things and was overwhelmed by the beauty the sky had this day, it was as if... the natural world was accepting of him somehow. He was alone as usual but his appearance had changed drastically anyone who had seen him before wouldn't recognize him; he was donning a flowing white rob with the hood resting on his back, his sleeves were long, covering his arms and hands entirely.

The spirit stood alone in a tall grass field, it resembled an ocean of emerald colored pearls because no matter how far he gazed upon the horizon, it was all that he could see. Noaru felt a deep sense of peace here for some reason; strange how he could feel ''peace'' after all the lives he's taken or ruined in his vengeful wake! But it was still there with him this peace--this serenity, he couldn't understand why he felt this way but he couldn't complain about because this world he was currently in was pure.

“ Kindness, humility, temperance, patience and diligence...
are these the qualities I lack?”

The spirit stood there thinking about many things: mainly, about the deep hatred he has towards humans and most livings that oppose him but why was he so angry at humans anyway? The fact that he couldn't remember properly, his purpose for hating them made him rethink a few things and question all his actions up until now. However, there was something within him that compels him to possess, manipulate and kill others around him, he believed that this was his inability to understand the aspects of certain things.

"Silence..."

Whispered a spirit, who was wandering on the grass. Elaine found the wildlands pretty peaceful, and a great place where she could read in calm. She wanted to, but she couldn't. She didn't have any books with her. She stopped a little bit. She sat down on the grass and looked around. She didn't have to hurry, she won't meet that kind of peace again. However this spirit has to read, or she lost her control under her soulmist and will do things what she normally wouldn't do. But there is still time. The sun is shining, and Elaine could see the little breezes on the big grass. Sun, moon and the stars were something what make Elaine calm and peaceful. No human around her, not like in the library. No human. How pathetics are they? Elaine was alone now for a long time. It didn't brother her. It was rarely. She had to enjoy the moment. She stood up and felt peace. Her appearance now changed, she could be recognize like she looked like in the party where she died. Her black-red dress. She have to go on now. She wandered a little bit more, but she stopped again. Elaine felt really strange now. Someone was here. She looked around. Could this be only a nonsense? No, she was really sure about, she was not alone anymore.

"What a pity..."

She whispered again. Again maybe a pathetic human. But noone was around. Then she heared voices. Humality, kindness, temperance.... ey? Now she was sure. Another soul was wandering here.

"How could these things are missing for you when you just gave up to reincarnate and gave up the chance to be a human again?"

She asked and waited for the awsner. Humality, kindness and any of these now means nothing for her. How could they? She is a ghost, these things nothing to do with her, only peace and calm. She wasn't happy about someone was around. Her appearance became a bit confusing.

Noaru felt the presence of another ghost, he thought it was Allan but he wasn't sure and turns to see who it was that spoke to him... it was another ghost. The spirit was surprised to another spirit besides those of the violent and malevolent type, it was good for him to be able to meet another soul... or was it bad for another soul to meet him? Noaru in nature was maniacal and sinister, if you'd give him the opportunity to possess someone, he'd do so in order to increase his own power.

I was never human to begin with or ''alive''... I did not live as the others did.

Noaru had his back turned from the female, he continued to observes the landscape before him, wondering before he stepped back into a city... would he still be able to remain so peaceful. There came a time that when he denied his true nature, it manifested itself right before his very eyes: the option to be neutral seemed good to him as of now but how long would that neutrality last?

"You were the same. YOU LIVED. You lived in a meat."

Awsnered Elaine and calmed down again. Her appaerance changed again, now a girl form could seen, but still it was foggy. However she found annoying she is not alone, but it was rude from the boy, he didn't even look her. But Elaine wasn't sure if she sould go closer. She stepped 2 but she stopped. She realized it's interesting that she found a ghost. She was never meet one before. But still if her "kind" or not she is not alone.

"It's rude if somebody talk to you, or you talk to someone and dont look at her. Are you scared what you saw?"

She whispered. And stepped further to the other soul. She was pretty interested now. It's getting darker. Elaine stopped and looked up. The clouds hid the sun. The winds were coming. Elaine looked back to the stranger.

“I can assure you that I was not in the slightest bit a human or existed in the same way.”

Noaru turned to face his new company, revealing that he was brown in complexion with dark red eyes that had snake-like pupils; he had dreadfully pale neck length hair. In appearance was very young but this appearance of his hid the fact that he was a truly old spirit and one that through deception and evil—killed his victims, allowing them to fall into even greater despair at the fact that they gave him permission to control their body and use it to kill those they know or love.

The spirit was not going to be convinced into reincarnation, he rejected it and its meaning some many years ago. The power he has now, his consciousness, everything that was him would be changed and the thought of him being reincarnated into something less than he was now enrages him, if it was not for his limit amount of power he has now.... he would kill the next person who suggests him to do so.

“What should I be afraid of and who should I be giving my respects to? I need to know you before I can know myself.”

"My name is Elaine Spade, The Silent Lady"

Introduced herself to the stranger. She didn't afraid. Why would she? She was a ghost. However Elaine felt the other ghost murder-self. She became interested to this ghost, she never met another ghost. But that didn't change the thing she wanted to read. She again moved closer to the other spirit. More and more, step by step. The clouds now hid the sun. The wind was stronger now. Some leave were flying in the wind. Elaine was now really close to that spirit. Her apperance was clear now. She stood next to him now. Why am I that interested to him? He was human like myself. She asked herself. But that could be one thing. She never read books about ghosts. Then to not really be socialized she stepped aside from him.

"When did you become a ghost. And why did you choose to give up your mortal life?"

“I have mentioned before that I have always been a spirit and mortality was never an option for me.”

Noaru stepped back he didn't like the fact that Elaine was so close, he didn't like anyone being close to him. The spirit disappeared and reappeared from blinking some meters away—ten meters away to be exact, he turned and began to walk; though, he could have blinked several times and while doing so remain invisible but he didn't, he wanted to the sheer magnitude of this ghosts curiosity to see how far she would follow him and assume that he was human.

Noaru took into consideration into how rude he was being but all he was doing was a bit of harmless teasing of a young spirit, he felt that she meant no harm and was just curious of him but he couldn't let his guard down, trusting others and forming bonds wasn't his strong suits. Noaru was heading towards a small hill since it was becoming dark, he would take the time to linger around such a nice area in order to reminisce about his past.

"You're still afraid."

Whispered Elaine who saw that the spirit has gone away from her. The winds was stronger now. Elaine sat down again and lost her interest again to the stranger. She looked up and didn't pay attention to other ghost. She saw some bird in the sky and the sun was hide by the clouds. Is it going to rain? No. The clouds moved fast and the sun appeared again. The sun shined brightly to the lands. The girl appearance was clear as before she met that ghost. She love that calm. Calm. In the next city that's going to be miss. But at least she can read there. Just need to find a place where she can haunt for a little while. In the trees some birds started to sing. That was kinda annoying for her. Bird's singing what a lovely melody, and what an annoying noise for her. Silent is the only "melody" she loved. She looked at the birds and wanted to shut them.

"Those "cute", little birds. Can't they keep this calmness of this beautiful silence?

Noaru finally had regained his solitude something he had always had but wanted to enjoy to the fullest this day for some reason, he glanced back to the young soul behind, her questions were odd but he didn't pay any mind to them to much--all he was focused on at the moment was trying to understanding a few things about himself, his goals and plans for the rest of this eternity he would spend in this world. The spirits attention was caught when a spear lands just two meters in front of him, it had some soulmist smeared on it.. he could tell and feel the precious soulmist upon the deadly weapon. Noaru checked his surroundings, he could feel the presence of someone lingering nearby--their killing intent was unmistakably noticeable, he quickly hides himself by turning invisible.

“That young ghost will be in trouble but I'm curious to how she will react to the ruthlessness of a spiritist.”

Noaru had a sinister plan in mind, he would have two figures in his little field to toy with! Oh, the excitement he would get to see the capabilities of not just a spiritist but also another spirit, he was a sly one manipulation and deceit, he loved involving these things in his schemes, it always brought out the ''best'' people and what he did love the most was possessing the troubled hearts of mortals because when their angry or confused they'd do anything to make that person who harmed them suffer... regardless of the consequences.

“Come out ghost! I know your here, it must be you that ghost that haunts these lands. I will put you to rest today, at last!”

A young man stood up from the grass, he wasn't a tall fellow about five in a half in height, he wasn't to buff either about the moderate size a man could be in his early twenties, he had brown eyes and black hair; wearing regular clothing that was brown in color, he had a brown shirt on with brown pants, nothing to extravagant. The young man was clearly looking for a ghost but mistaking it for Noaru was a big mistake and Noaru suddenly had a new plan.

Elaine couldn't be happier after the birds stopped singing. She enjoyed the "sight-seeing". But she had a strange feeling now. She saw the other spirit turned invisible. Human was coming. She knew it and became angry about that. Finally found a silent place nobody could destroy it. Elaina became invisible too.

"Those pathetic humans. They shouldn't be here."

That was she whispered then she heared the young man voice. Put us to rest? He couldn't think that seriously. Elaine already gave up her humanity. Human society is disgusting, pathetic. What should she do? Will the other spirit attack him? Maybe not. Then maybe she could attack him. She couldn't tell why she felt that anger for this human at the moment, she just knew she had to attack him. Could this be cruel? Elaine realized, that man was a young spiritist. Easy to target to test too. Elaine curisity about the human and test her powers was bigger now. But she waited. She had to wait, maybe the other ghost will do something. She could just see it and learn from it. Elaine looked at the human who was searching for them. She wanted to make things more interesting. She should hit him with a stone. That reminded her the moment of her last night where she hit Alfred. But she didn't do that. It wouldn't be the best plan and he is too close to that spirit. She waited and watched what's gonna happen next.
