Hello there! I'm excited and at the same time, intimidated with this world so far.

I've been lurking the site for the last week now, just absorbing information and looking to where I could possibly fit myself into this intriguing world you have here. So far I'm in awe of the quality of storytelling happening in the threads I've seen, and personally love the more long-winded style of narrative employed in this forum.

I started back up doing RP on elliquiy, if only for the assurance that I would be playing with mature, creative writers and not so much in search of smut. It was good for a time, until I noticed having to pander to some fandoms, produce an original character that ultimately was the result of someone's desires, or endure writing a simulacra of a male stereotype. Despite the community being awesome, there was little in the way of creating an enduring character that dealt with a persistent world. While I have no bones against quasi romantic plot devices, I'd rather not make them the centerpiece of the every story or thread.

After giving RPGuild a chance, I found this place, and was honestly skeptical, yet after lurking the threads and immersing myself in the lore became infatuated with this dense and colorful world you've all created.

I've only begun fleshing out my CS, and want badly to create something interesting, if not, a character that can fit well into this world. I hope to see some of you in the world soon!

We write a little smut, but not after some good RP backstory and threading we take pride in producing good story and superb writing. People work hard here to make excellent characters.
