Orion It appeared she had tired of his antics, and understandably so. She had indeed paid good coin for this massage, and he was only toying with her. So her looks of annoyance would be put to rest as he diligently worked her other foot. A particularly tense spot on the bottom was found by his thumbs, and with small circular motions he began to relieve the tension that only a traveler's feet could experience. "I have a tendency to ramble on, so please, shut me down if I get to be too much." He didn't expect a reply. If any of her previous reactions to particularly sensitive spots were any sort of indication, he had nothing but moans to expect. Her joke was no good. Not even a little bit. "Kyra...I think we should both stay out of comedy, don't you? Why don't we focus on the massage?" He chuckled, continuing to work the tight spot on her sole. She must have walked hundreds upon hundreds of miles to have feet this beat up. No wonder she couldn't control herself as he relieved the pressure. She perked up, finding herself interested in what he had to say about rebirth. Unfortunately, he had little more to say on the matter. "Ah, it's just what my mother taught me. She said that some people can even see parts of their previous lives, but I don't know anything about that. I do sometimes wonder what I was like.." Orion found himself grinning at her question. She hadn't kicked him, but she was doing something. "No worries. It seems my body makes a good rest for a foot. Good to know." She had the right of it. Mizas made the world go round. Orion had more than he knew what to do with, but the taverns weren't complaining, that was for sure. Neither did the women. "It's always a good thing to get what you want. Do you have things that you want?" Orion nearly swallowed his tongue at her next question. Was he hungry? More than she could imagine. All of that writhing and moaning? Gods, are we talking about the same thing? "I-I'm starved," he managed, he face flushing slightly. What a crazy day this was. Perhaps Orion had got in over his head. |
