I have to say I'm a bit nervous about this whole thing, being the perfectionist that I am I suppose I'm scared of mucking up in public, and it all seems rather formal and fancy. BUT I suppose I'll get the hang of it eventually!

Anywho! My name is Miranda and I have some previous experience of roleplaying, mainly from when I was younger but also some over the past year, although I found most of those quite flat and boring, and the ones I liked eventually died out anyway because people stopped replying. Oh well!

I am currently working on my character sheet, and knowing me that might take a day or two (if that's all right? I'm going to assume it is!). It's quite late at the moment though, so I might take a break and continue tomorrow as my brain is starting to turn into mush.

I'm hoping that joining Mizahar will provide me with some friends and good times, and hopefully lots and lots of intriguing stories and characters!

Hello welcome to Mizahar, I see you are a Pycon, that should be very interesting! Take as much time as you need on your CS, I don't think time matters, it took me a month to post mine, haha. If you have any questions please PM me and I will try to help out the best I can, for I am new as well.

Anywho, the main thing is to have fun! So I hope you enjoy your time here

You will need a name change. Little lion is not appropriate.

Oh, ok. I was just under the impression that pycons sometimes referred to themselves as what they got called by others, but maybe I got that part wrong.

Might I ask why it's not appropriate and what would be more appropriate?

No inappropriate names from real life or titles (Satan, God, President Bush, Demon, Mohammad) such as those of Gods or Goddesses will be allowed. No numbers or decorative effects are allowed in names either. Titles or improper names like 'Thedragonwarrior' are not allowed. Please use appropriate spelling and capitalization. All lower case names annoy us. If you create an inappropriate name, you will be asked to change it or the account will be deleted. We strive to maintain a playerbase of original interesting names. Please aid us in making that possible. Special characters are allowed if they are appropriate.

Yes, I read that bit quite a few times before I joined. I just don't see how my name fits in to any of those categories, as my character is a pycon in the shape of a lion and referred to as 'little lion' and therefore picked that up as a name?

I'm not trying to be difficult or anything, I just want to know why.

I am not trying to answer your question that is for a mod, story teller, admin or what have you to answer. But you do know you could put "Little Lion" underneath your name, so instead of saying "Player" it can say "Little Lion", that way both parties are pleased

Oh, if it's your PC's name (his real chosen name and not a nick name), that's fine. In that case, you should capitalize both words.

Since you don't have a CS yet, I thought it was just your username. Sorry.

Little Lion is not fine for a PC name. You need to actually have a 'fantasy type' name thats not a copywritten name or denotes something else. Little is a title or descriptor and lion is a noun. You need an actual NAME.

Like you can be Leo, and then where it says "Player" it can read "The Little Lion". That way you are following the rules, and you still have the "little lion" part you are fond of.
