Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

Saying Goodbye.....

30th of Winter, 512AV

The sun settled right by the sea. It was very beautiful, the sand was cool and the water was calm. It was quiet, if you didn't include the panting sounds of Tutu, Laurie's male Ovatalis Terrier. Laurie, a beautiful young Konti. Her eyes were close and like always, her lips were curved into a smile. She was worshipping the goddess.

Once she was done her eyes fluttered open. She rubbed Tutu's head. Shushed him and slowly rise to her feet. She squinted, the sun was bright. Too bright for her. She took off her boots and walked toward the water. Lifting her dress, letting the waves creep up and kiss her feet. She let out a sigh of relief. It felt so good. She was going to miss this. But she didn't want to be in Mura forever, she wanted- no needed to travel. It was a chance she is willing to take. She doesn't want to hear about her grandmother's Journeys. She wants to live them. Make her own memories and one day when she has a child of her own; tell her about it. But she won't leave yet. She wanted to admired the sea some more. With the smile still on her face, she sat down by the water.

But she was getting tired, and she spread her body across the sand. She used her bag as a pillow. Slowly she started to drift off. The waves washed over her like a blanket. She dreamed of different races, large cities. She dreamed of a lot, but she focused on the people she would meet. Laurie loves being around people. She longed to make friends everywhere. That was her goal, to make friends. Once she did, she'd be satisfied. ...

Saying Goodbye.....

Postby Keyta on January 1st, 2013, 5:56 pm

The sun was finally beginning to lower, allowing the kelvic bat to finally see perfectly once more. Keyta loved to fly, but recently, she had not gone around the island to fly, she has been up when the sun was over them most of the time now. But at this moment, she had energy, the sky was clear, and it was growing darker. Several creatures began to silence themselves, others woke for the first time that day, Keyta was of both now, and only slept for a few hours between. As the kelvic's companion was no where to be seen, Keyta quickly discarded her clothing and tried her best to fold them and set them nicely in a corner, but they just never looked as nice as when Blythe did them. The little girl took a few steps outside and felt the slightly chilled embrace of the island, and spread her arms to welcome it. With that a quick and bright flash lit up the house and a few trees before a small dark bat took the place of the girl. Her wings spread out just like her arms once were and still standing for a just a moment before falling forward. Before hitting the ground, Keyta put all of her effort into the largest jump her tiny feet could offer and took of flapping her wings vigorously. Not a sound emerged from the bat, other than the constant flapping of wings, as she soared over the city of Mura, its people not even noticing her appearance as they went off to their homes or some emerging alike some of the animals awakening.

As Keyta flew through the forest, she found herself along the edge of the island, where the beach took over for land. The sound of the water crashing on top of itself and the few creatures that could only be heard near its embrace. The kelvic flew from what she considered the back of the island toward the front, she saw something odd, it looked like a person laying out on the beach. Suddenly she felt worried, this person was wet and looked unconscious, was it possible they were swept up by the ocean and brought here? Quickly Keyta descended and flew straight for the un-moving body, just before she hit the ground, she lit up once again and began to run on her human legs. The woman was still much larger than her, but she grabbed her shoulders and began to pull her away from the ocean as best as she could; which was only a few steps away but it got the woman out of the water. Keyta's breath was heavy now as she crawled over to face the woman, not sure exactly how to tell if they were still living. So the naked girl did the only thing she could think of and placed her head on the woman's chest, listening for a heart beat.

Saying Goodbye.....

Postby Taithrosa Eldytia on January 1st, 2013, 6:22 pm

Taithrosa walked along the beaches of Mura a bag at his side, he was dressed in his opal order clothing, a opalescent white kilt and sash with set out in start contrast against his blue skin. He was working on expanding his supply of herbs and needed to stock some more of the algies that grew in the water. One of the more common herbs on the island of mura, it was necissary espeically at this colder time of year when colds and the flue were more common. There were a number of remedies for the cold, but it wasn't a bad idea to have a selection of each.

Taithrosa was picking up a nice strand when he heard a bat, looking up he saw a small bat flying forward a konti lying on the beach. the Akalak looking man blinked at the image as the bat changed into a small named human looking individual. His mind drew from a previous memory, that would be a kelvic, they were a fairly common new race in this changed world.

The silvery eyes looked on as she put her head to listen for a heart beat. Taithrosa slipped the seaweed in his bag and walked over to join the bat. His eyes scanned the body. He suspected she was just sleeping, for him over even the bat sleeping in the surf would have been impossible, for the konti it was as natural as blankets were to anyone else. They could breath under water so they didn't have any defenses against drowning.

His deep voice spoke behind the pair. "I believe she is sleeping."
Do you think that you could ever, Through all eternity,
Find out the generation Where Gods began to be?
Or see the grand beginning, Where space did not extend?
Or view the last creation, Where Gods and matter end?
Me thinks the Spirit whispers, “No man has found ‘pure space,’
Nor seen the outside curtains, Where nothing has a place.”

Saying Goodbye.....

Postby Laurie White on January 1st, 2013, 6:30 pm

Laurie was still sleep. She was sleeping for a long time now. But the dream she was having was so interesting. At least to her. She was meeting people! The joy and excitement of talking to others. And not in Kontinese but common. She was a little rusty but her words were clear. In this dream she danced on the balcony of a castle. By herself, but it didn't matter, she was surrounded by people. Friends that knew her name."Laurie". They said it softly and with excitement. She stared into the eyes of people and bowed, her elegant body curled as she did it. Her excitement for this adventure grew. But then it changed. A dark dirt road with crooked trees that looked lifeless. Cold eyes hid behind those trees. Laurie was so scared she started running. She ran as she heard her name again but not in the passionate way she dreamed of before. It was creepy and with envy. It grew closer and closer until finally a scream happened and everything was dark. She started to realize that she won't meet a lot of friendly people, some pure evil and others horrifying monsters.

Her eyes shot open as she jumped up. She was breathing hard and crying. Her heart skipped a beat. She leaned back and realized there was someone there. She looked back at a girl, no bigger than her with orange hair and light skin. She looked the girl in the eyes." Uh... Hello." She spoke quietly, surprising herself. She felt like she didn't have a voice. But she could speak. Tutu sniffed the girl before returning to Laurie's side. They sat a couple of inches away from her. Back towards the ocean so it crashed against them. The girl didn't look harmless. At least they hoped and prayed to Avalis that she wasn't. Then there was the boy... Or man she had just notice. Who was he? And how come she didn't see him?

Saying Goodbye.....

Postby Keyta on January 1st, 2013, 7:53 pm

Keyta was confused, how was it people could fall asleep so close to water without the fear of drowning? She remembered not being able to breath when she tried to swim herself, but yet this konti was perfectly fine with it. Not to mention this blue man seemed to look like it was natural for her race, she never had seen Blythe sleep underwater, but was it something they could do? Keyta then turned back and sat on her knees, nodding to the girl when she acknowledged her, but still could smile due to the scare. Just then one of the large waves swept over and made Keyta jump back, scared of being pulled back into the ocean. She now stood, her short statue making her appear as nothing more than a child, especially next to the blue man. Her pale skin and bright orange hair glowing with moon light as her chest pumped in and out, still trying to catch her breath. The kelvic wasn't sure what to think of this moment, but everyone did seem alright, even the man didn't appear startled, as his clothing made his skin almost disappear with its contrast against the moon light. Keyta stood upright once more and bowed slightly, hands at her sides and her hair falling over her face. When she arose once more, her eyes and mouth were still the same, filled with fear and concern, which could not be helped.

Saying Goodbye.....

Taithrosa watched the confusssion as the konti woman awoke, to find two people stairing at her. He knew exactly what time it was and so knew that the Syna and Leth had trade places and so in that brief moment he had changed the way he looked. Gone was the saphire blue skin with the silvery eyes. Replacing it was a being of stories. His handsome face was still similiar, the changes being subtle making his face more attractive. His black hair had lightened to a molten silver that matched his eyes now. Two horns of obsidian black now swept back from his forhead along either side of his head. His skin was white and shinned in the fading light.

He smiled at the konti woman, "Hello, you seemed to have drifted off and we wanted to make sure you were okay." He looked over at the kelvic who was clearly afraid and still recovering for the womans violent waking. His eyes grew sympathectic. He didn't know much about kelivic, but he understood animals, and this behavior was rather different.

"It appears that everyone is alright." He smiled gentle. "It appears that introductions are in order. I am Taithrosa."

Saying Goodbye.....

The wave didn't take Laurie by surprise as it grabbed her and pulled her in. She would regret getting her dress wet but she loved the water. She swam around and dived in. Running into fish and finding beautiful seashells. She did this for ten minutes until she remembered the man and Revok. She went back to shore embarrassed. It wasn't lady like to leave people without giving signs. She heard what the man said and nodded." I am very sorry... I'm just so use to it. I am fine because I'm Konti." She bowed her head, her wet hair curled as it slapped the side of her face." I am sorry." She repeated before looking into their eyes. She put out a hand for either one of them to shake." I am Laurie... Laurie White." She told them.

She looked up at the sky and realized the sun wasn't out. She was devastated. She was suppose to leave and start her journey. But she didn't want to walk alone in the dark. After her dream, she realized that the world isn't peaceful and Pleasant like Mura. She had to be careful. And that meant she wouldn't walk alone during the night. Her blue eyes were still gazing upon them as she examined them some more. She thought they were both beautiful. Unique features she's never seen. Her lips curved back into the wonderful smile she had before she went to sleep.

Saying Goodbye.....

Postby Keyta on January 1st, 2013, 9:02 pm

The kelvic watched as the konti placed her hand out, she didn't know what to do as everyone was exchanging names around her like usual, and she was unable to tell them. She knew people of the island have trouble ready common most of the time, so she rarely ever wrote her name out, but it didn't seem like she had much of a choice. So she got on her knees and in large letters, drew out her name in the sand, 'KEYTA', and hoped the two people would be able to read it considering how dark it also was. Afterward, she stood back up, patted the sand off of herself as best as she could, and then remembered, her skin was still bare, yet neither of the two seemed to be surprised or flustered about it. This was a rare moment when people didn't act funny around her for being a child without clothing in front of them. It was nice, to not have to worry about it, but she still felt odd simply because of all of the times she did have trouble with being naked in public. Her previous trip to Ravok especially imprinted on how people reacted to knowing she was kelvic and also seeing her bare skin. On Mura, most of the people only acted embarrassed, offered her clothing, and talked about how innocent she must be. Reality had struck, but she just felt safer in Mura, it already felt like home, even with all of the strangers coming and leaving the island.

Still smiling Taithrosa nodded his head as the konti introduced herself. The daughters of this island could sometimes be flightly Taithrosa thought as he turned to look at the other member of the crowd. She had dropped into the sand and was writing something. Taithrosa walked around so he could read the name in the sand. The few kelvics he had actually meet had been able to talk but he wondered if she couldn't as because of the animal she was.

He read the name and nodded to her. "It is a pleasure to meet you Keyta and Laurie." As a healer in the Opal Order Taithrosa was actually fairly used to the body with out cloths, and had watched enough kelvic changed to understand clothing didn't travel with them. To make an issue of it would be showing his own ignorances.

He looked up at the night sky as it finished darkening. His skin provided a mild light but nothing that would give any serious illumination. "It might be best if we got off the beach before it gets darker or colder." He said standing. "Mura has nice wealther but even here the nights can get chilly. Is there some were I can escort either or you?"

Saying Goodbye.....

Postby Laurie White on January 1st, 2013, 10:23 pm

Laurie took out her wooden brush, she brushed her long hair, her knees supported her weight as she brushed her hair, she noticed two things about the Keltic. She was nude and was writing something. She came to the conclusion that she was probably in an animal form. So as she put her brush away she took out her blue cloak and wrapped it around the girl smiling." There you go, later we'll find your clothes." She smiled before noticing the name in the sand. Laurie's reading at night wasn't good so it took her awhile. Keyta. She smiled." It's a beautiful name." She told her.

Laurie looked at Taithrosa." I suppose it is." She sighed." I was foolish enough to fall asleep, knowing I wanted to start my adventure today." Laurie frowned. She already told her grandmother and mother she was off. And they took her word, she could already here her grandmother's mocking voice,"We took you word for it young lady and now you have returned. Your mother only made supper for the both of us, she would be disappointed finding out you're still here. We took your word and trusted you'd keep it." A lady's word... Something her family took serious. She fell back on it, and that wasn't right. She shook her head." I will stay here... the dark does not frighten me." She told them. She sat properly on the sand, great posture and all. Her mother should be done with her job and returned home. She predicted around this time dinner would be done. It would be rude to arrive home now. Her smile returned so it looked like everything was fine. In a way it was...
