I must confess, I haven’t been reading that much this year. It’s due to a series of hard events coming on me, like my own hospitalization, exams I had to get prepared to, multiple accidents that happened to myself or members of my family. None the less, I have managed to pick up a few books at the beginning of the year, and the best was by far:
I must say I was surprised, at just how much I liked this. Because when I first picked the book up, I was sure it would be one of those angst filled romance things. And honestly, despite me writing Amelia with quite a bit of romance in it, I am not a huge fan of the gender.
So yea, this book, however, didn’t come off to me as one that was sickly concentrated on the romance, despite it having the perfect grounds for it. The book revolved more about the heroines journey, her self-awareness and development…so yea…awesome read!
Though, I wouldn’t say I recommend it to everyone, since not everyone likes Romance. But to the ones that do, this is the perfect cross between Mature and Romantic, without being cheesy and too “adult”.
