(OPEN) a peacefull city

Summer 19 Day 510
Kaelithus sat on stone in the middle of the city looking into the crowd, his companion, a Black falcon named Midnight began to nibble on his ear letting out a a mixture of clicks and squawks Kaelithus smiled "I know Midnight im bored as hell to!" Kael stretched his legs standing up "To bad theres we can't cause a little trouble...i guess some target practice would be the best to pass time" Kaelithus placed his backpack on the ground pulling out a few coins he placed them on the rock standing on there edge. walking 20 paces back kael pulled out his bow and a few arrows firing them in rapid recession each one dead on the coin Midnight squawked flying towards the coins picking each one up placing them back in Kaels palms "thank you Midnight."

Trovian rounded the corner, followed closely by Shadow, his trusted pack horse. For a few minutes he stood and watched the stranger practicing with his bow, hitting coins dead on from 20 yards. Impressed, he walked forwards, clearing his throat.

'Impressive stuff my friend, very impressive.'

Trovian flashed a quick smile in the direction of the Human, looking him in the eye as he did so.

'But I bet you couldn't do it from 40 yards.'

Trovian chuckled softly, offering a challenge to the stranger. He approached slowly and in his own time, and when he was close enough, offered his hand with a slight bow of his head.

'The name's Trovian. Pleasure to meet you. What might I call you?'

He waited patiently, hand extended in greeting.

Kaelithus looked over his shoulder and smiled. "40 yards? thats nothing...i'm sure I could do it blindfolded with the help my friend" Kael looked at Midnight and let a few clicks and whistles exit his lips, Midnight looked at kael and did the same thing before the bird flew to his shoulder. "You see...our main language allows us to speak to our Companions..." Kael looked at the young mans hand and shook it "Kael"

Aiken walked through the city's crowd as a wolf, burly and threatening. He was the anti-thesis of their dynamic, gaining attention and fear while the others were ignored. He smiled inwardly because he felt powerful. And because he felt powerful, he felt that nothing was a stopping force for him.

Through his smile, though, he heard a bird squawking. No matter how strong he felt, nothing beat out hunger in a city you couldn't hunt in. He picked up his stride, half laughing as the fearful beings leaped from his path. Those that thought themselves strong enough to stay in his way, he bounded around until he came to his destination.

His heart sank when there was a break in the crowd, and he saw the two, one with a bow. The bird, a falcon by the looks, was probably owned, since most falcons didn't just land in a city unattended.

Nevertheless, he approached the men and shifted to his human form. He either didn't realize, or didn't care that he was, but his nudity was undeniably noticeable. "I'll take the bet on the side of the archer, if this is an open gamble."

Trovians lips curled up in a soft smile.

'It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance Kael. Now there's a challenge if ever I saw one.'

At that Trovian pulled a rag from his pockets to be used as a blindfold.

'You game?'

Trovian was happy to have met another individual here, who like himself took pride in what they were good at. His own traits being that of the wilderness and of plants, animals and scouting. Kaels being archery, and apparently falconry.

Trovian smiled at the thought and gave Kael a smile that indicated the challenge was on.

Suddenly Trovian turned to face a newcomer. He was completely nude, yet didn't seem phased by the fact at all, almost as if he didn't notice. Or care. Probably the latter of the two, by the way the man held himself. Trovian spoke to the man anyway, willing to part with a coin in a gamble with this man.

'One gold miza then. If he hits his mark, I will give you a coin, if he doesn;t, well, you will owe me one. Deal?'

Trovian shot a questioning look in the direction of the newcomer, awaiting his response.

"Deal. I'm afraid I've left all my money in a bank though; I have no place to hold it myself." Aiken smiled, happy for his sense of smell. The archer was human, and he smelled of mountains, and so did his bird.

"A blindfold shot from 40 yards from an Inarta. Or so is what my understanding is."

Kael nodded "of course i'm game" he placed the coins the coins in the same place walking 40 yards back. "im trusting you here Midnight..." he tossed the bird into air as the squawks and clicks left its beak. Kael took in a deep breath listening carefully to his companions sounds he moved his arrow accordingly and let go in the split second it took the arrow to move kael sighed the arrow wasn't dead on center yet it nicked the coin causing a dent in the outer ring. Hearing the sound kael took of his blindfold "does that count?" he asked The next three arrows he readjusted each hitting there targets

Trovian stood there, pondering his decision for a moment. Looking at the coin and then to the two men standing there. It was certainly an impressive shot, that much was certain, even if he didn't catch it as he wished. Trovian the spoke, with a light smile touching his lips as he looked at his companions.

'Yes, I suppose. You have no need to part of your coins today Kelvic.'

At that he reached into his bag, pulling out a purse and flipping it in the direction of the Kelvic.

'So, I have been meaning to ask you. Have you no clothes? It is rather unsightly to say the least if I was to be brutally honest.'

He chuckled to himself softly, bewildered by the fact that this man was standing in the middle of Syliras, completely nude. He shook his head in amazement, looking at Shadow, who seemed to know what he was thinking and whinnied back.

Aiken caught the coin in mid-air, looking over the shiny object inside with a little more attention than was probably needed.

"I don't own clothes, no. And if I did, why should I be confined to them instead of allowing myself the freedom of being a wolf?" He smiled, remembering how much bigger he felt, even as he was hip height to a human.

"Clothing.. its not a simple thing for me as it is for you. And besides walking in this form, I have no way of carrying them, or much of anything else."

Kaelithus looked back at the two of them. "isn't it illegal to walk around naked though?" He looked up at Midnight letting out a few clicks and whistles.

Midnight squawked doing a nose dive to the ground coming to a slowing halt on kaels shoulders beginning to clean its self it pecked Kaels ear. "you need to go out and get more food for yourself Midnight.." He tossed the bird into the air who soon dispersed into the sky.
