Xth of Winter of 513 A.V. -Date Pending on Abel's Schedule.

The stables... even being near it bade the girl shudder and that was even she she had difficulty feeling the cold. When she was alive she'd always been frightened of horses. She could remember a time long ago when she was still a child, one had thrown her off it's back and almost trampled her under it's hooves. How she had miraculously avoided that shower of snapping steps she couldn't remember, but that day had left a permanent mark on her psyche that might never heal.

It seemed almost a lifetime ago now, but the fear was still there. Though she was already an adult in her own right and she could master her emotions to some extent she could never truly bury it the way others could. Unlike many nuit she was swayed more by feelings than thoughts, that made her both unpredictable and unreliable in their designs...

"Uhm, I was asked to inspect the horse belonging to Mister Louger. He wishes to take it for a ride around the countryside tomorrow and is asking for it to be prepared for his arrival..." she hoped that the staff occupying the stables would be easy to deal with. She did not have a wish to stay here any longer than she ought to, but work as work and she would be unwise to keep her master waiting longer than he could afford to be patient.

Quit Horsing Around [Abel Knight]

Postby Abel Knight on February 23rd, 2013, 9:41 am

Abel pushed over the flaps of his tent, he has finished taking a rag bath, like always, and was getting ready for work in the stables, Simon his pet monkey helped him take down the tent and pack stuff before the horses came out for a run. Abel got everything up and placed in the stables before they opened, and was ready to go, he put his horses into a stall and then started with work. He grabbed a few horses and put them into the fields, he loved horses, I mean, he was a Drykas, they love horses. He placed a bale of hay in the field, and then started grooming other.

The morning was passing slowly when he noticed a woman walk into the stables, he walked up to her, his monkey Simon on his shoulder like always. “welcome to the Windmount Stables, I am Abel, Goom of the stables, my bosses are not here at the moment, but how may I help you?” he said with a lovely smile, and Simon did the same as well. He walked up with a horse and was still brushing its hair, “this is my lovely friend, Marble.” he laughed as he pointed to the horse.

Quit Horsing Around [Abel Knight]

"Well, I was asked by my employer, Mister Louger to inspect his horse. He wishes to ride out on the morrow with it... and so he would also like it prepare for him... I've a missive here with his signature and I also have a few miza to cover, upkeep was it, for keeping the horse in good shape." she wasn't an expert in the matter, but she was no fool either. She had to be sure that they would attend to her employer's request. She didn't want to put him in a bad mood since she wasn't a senior among the employees which meant she could still be easily replaced if she did not meet their expectations. "...I am pleased to meet you and your friend Sir Abel." she told him, her tone not entirely convincing. The horse frightened her still, but at least it's master was with it and he could probably keep the beast from going wild.

"May I see the horse now? Or must the document I brought be assessed by someone of greater authority?" realizing that her words might have been offending she hasted to correct herself, panic marring her face. "I do not mean to demean your position however, please make no mistake!"
