5th Of Winter

The last few days had been a rather obnoxious experience to say in the least. But she went into Sunberth asking for trouble and she had certainly found it, remincising of the few people that had found themselves unlucky enough to be infront of her rampaging war path she only realized that she still wasnt strong enough.

Her style had almost been beat by some self proclaimed chump champion boxer extreme. Sure had speed, and damn those punches carried some weight behind them. Perhaps if she hadnt been a Dhani she wouldnt have survived however superior constrictor cunning outclassed a classless opponent with but one thing. Shear brute force, monstrous strength and fortitude.

Tall and lanky the towering womans true potential was well hidden, she had the strength of close to three men and she didnt look like an amazonian she hulk.

She steped forward towards a curl bar, and she stretched her arms.

Lifting the bar she went into her breathing techniques, as the weight found itself rising towards her chest she was inhaling taking in oxygen and then exhaling as the bar found itself lowering. Each repetition brought with it a new level of needed focus, you either succumbed to the pain or you continued to push through it.

Sometimes the body felt fatigued, sometimes it cried, you had to pay close attention. Sometimes all it took with a heavy weight was an off balance rep to completely ruin you. Tearing your ligaments etc were all real risks.

But as she found her inner focus, it was akin to sneaking into the stables jumping onto a horse and coach and driving it like you stole it. Fast, furious and unrelenting.

Her repetions became sets and these sets could start a morning into an afternoon if she allowed it.

For added results she channeled flux energy and incorporated it into her workouts. Just a little, it wasnt about supercharged power it was about control and harnessing that power. Without restraint, it would run wildly and tear her apart at the seam.

It was like that curl bar felt like it was just the bar, like effortless. But on the inside she was channeling just enough to get the job done. While also concentrating on how she felt as to not push to far and accidentaly hurt herself.

Putting the curl bar down, she looked around her room that she was staying at currently.

There were these weights on pullies that she started to mess with, sitting down. She braced her feet and pulled inwards, working her back and the bottom of her biceps. She just tugged and pulled, released and pulled some more. As always she moved slowly, it was a much more intense work out and every movement would be maximized.

Floh could pull into her chest, these while difficult and she found herself doing that frequently. When she had reached her aloted sets she did a different technique, this time she pulled outwards. Arms outstretched she pulled with force using each arm at the same time but the weight was focused on each individual arm making it alot harder then before. This was an intense work out, as her body was beginning to sweat.

Just like before flux energy began to flow into her back, gentle and calm. And as before it was about control, just because she could ascertain super human ability did not imply she herself was super human which meant she was restricted to what she was physicaly capable of enduring.

Continuing on it was what seperated her from those you often meet in gyms, you know. The guy that hangs on the machine thinking about doing it, but just sits there defeated.

Floh could delve deep within herself and call upon her reserves of energy, and she would continue working on her form.

Standing up and turning around she took hold of the pull weights and balled her fists.

Again without Flux, she began slowly making the form of her punch. It was in the arms, the legs, the hips and her breath. There was thrust of force, just her body fighting the element of weight under the technique to improve its strength.

The right arm slunk back fighting the draw yet yielding, and the left arm burst into slow motion action.

Sweat itself began to bead on her face and across her physical form, like a warrior she perceviered through struggle.

As the left arm began to slide back, the right hand bolted into a slow motion uppercut. The same theories applied to the application of technique under signifigant stress, to make them endure and to become more powerful in there releasing of energy.

Now the sets would be done with the Flux, she loved it. Not only did these flux techniques help her improve control over something that could be wildly dangerous to the inexperienced. They also while being used in conjunction with bodybuilding help her achieve loftier goals as every flux transaction was still a body building transaction when used in this particular transaction.

The trick to not hurting oneself with Flux was to remember your physical boundaries, and while the arcane that flowed through the fibers of her muscles was intense it was contained. For example one may be able to pick up a 500lb boulder with a single hand however that weight might dislocate or worse tear the arm from the shoulder, should they not apply flux to all muscle groups.

Floh was exhausted, and it was best not to push it.

She was done working out for the day but it wasnt over.

There wasnt much left to do except indulge in the bounty that she had picked up at the market.

10lbs of Fresh Fish.

Scaled and flayed, she took the meat and bit into it.
Tasting the flavors she she sunk her teeth into it, the concept of chewing no matter how many times she did it was just so unnatural. And there she sat, taking chunk after awkward chunk of the meat. Sometimes she tore pieces of the filets and just swallowed them.

So 10lbs of fresh fish, turned to 9 which turned to 7 which turned to 4. It was just like an endless eating machine without any visible signs of stopping.

The flavors intensified by a highly sensitive tongue, it was ok she could taste the sweetness and that cold fresh snap. It wasnt exactly what she was used to but it wasnt unpleasant, just strange.

Soon there was nothing left, and the Dhani constrictor found itself in human form curling up in her bed. Ready to take a nap.

As much as it might seem strange, this was a body building technique. Fish packed huge protein, this protein maximized her body building work out regiment. It was one of those little tricks of the trade.

Comments: A very short thread. Keep in mind that getting skill points will get harder the higher your level goes. It won't quite be enough to keep the threads and posts on this level when your skill levels rise. Also keep in mind that "just the right amount" for Flux is still hard to determine for her on this level and it's very easy for someone on Novice or even Competent level to overgive. Perhaps, refrain from claiming it to be "just enough" or similar in the future and let Storytellers determine that, based on your level and the way you describe and use it in-thread.
If you've any questions or concerns about your grade, drop me a PM!
