Day 17 of Spring 513 AV
Late Morning.

Syren left Meli to her own devises. She had wanted to go for a run around the outskirts of town so Syren had let her. He hoped she'd be carful. But now he was left with nothing to do and no one to talk to. So Syren absentmindedly mooched around town looking for something to occupy himself with. The Spring festival hadn't been long ago. He'f felt like the biggest outsider possible. At least he'd had Meli to celebrate with. so He hadn't been so along.

It was not one year ago that Sy had been surrounded by friendly faces. He'd left home though, and if it were a choice to go back, and un meet Meli, he would still choose her every time, no matter how painful it was to be banished. But one thing he missed with a passion was his friends. On in particular, was a friend he'd know since he was eight years old. Yousef. It was difficult to have no one, apart from Meli he could call friend. It had been hard adjusting to such lonely way of life. That was one of the reasons he had settled in this tent city.

So Sy figured he needed to do some socialising. Maybe someone would catch his eye. His Pavi was terrible be he could still give it a go. Language was the biggest thing casting him with the shadow of 'Outsider.'

Lacey and her family arrived at the tent city. She could see the people laughing and having fun, she smiled to herself. "Lacey I know that looked! Don't think about it," her mother called her. Lacey frowned for awhile she wanted to ride her horse at the tent city and scare them. Because Every time Thunder runs it sounds like a violent storm is coming, but she hardly notice any more. In the distance she can see her uncle waving to them. Her father laughed and pointed him out to his wife who didn't seem all that happy. "I told you he'll be here!" He said over and over again.

When they got to where her uncle was, Lacey's father talked and talked to him while she and her mother put the tent up. Thunder grunted and tamped his hoofs to the ground. Lacey patted him then continued to help her mother. "Lacey go out and meet people I got the tent, make friends." Lacey rolled her eyes and walked along side Thunder through the city. She new what her mother really meant to say was "leave and find a man to marry" father thinks its to soon for Lacey and she agrees as well. What Lacey really want is a close friend she can talk to and trust with her thoughts and secrets. Once again Thunder started to get bouncy then he whined his blue coated reflected of the sun making his flecks more visable. Lacey stud in front of him and followed were his eyes were looking. There was something out there but Lacey couldn't figure it out. She took Thunder out of the city to try to see it better. But all she saw was a boy. Why is he out here by himself? Lacey started at him for a moment. To her he didn't look like an Drykas but she's been wrong before. "Hey boy!" She shouted to him.

somewhat rudely jolting him out of his thoughts, a female voice rang out above the noise of the crowds. His blue eyes searched the faces until they settled on a young lady. A Drykas lady, tattooed and long haired, as was the norm among this race of humans. Syren raised his eyebrow, not exactly sure if she had spoken to him. After concluding that no one else had responded to the call, he lifted himself out of his foul mood, pushed it all it its place at the back of him mind and opened his mouth to respond in Pavi.

"Hello" he responded, knowing a conversation in Pavi wouldn't get to far, but speaking none the less. He walked slightly closer to her and grinned apologetically and said, in broken Pavi "Sorry. My Pavi isn't good yet.". He sighed and scratched his head, his discomfort in using the language clear as day. maybe she speaks the common toung "Can you talk common?" He sounded a bit childlike.

While he waited for an answer his eyes searched the woman, taking in her appearance. She was pretty, her eyes were hazel and her hair was long and flowing, medium brown in colour. She looked nice enough, but he couldn't be sure. Syren himself made sure he looked cheerful as always, if not a little uncomfortable speaking his third language.

Lacey saw Him coming over, he seem shy and nervous almost like a small child. See more details of he she thought less and less that he was a Drykas. His hair is to short, and horrible Pavi... Lacey couldn't help but laugh. Her and her father have a think for messing around with nondrykas. Well at lest my Common is good to... she thought. The man smiled to her and she smiled back. "I can see your not from here... and my appoliges I thought you were someone's child from a distance." Lacey was still smiling and trying not to laugh. "My name is Lacy. Yours," her common was alittle shaky hopefully he didn't notice to much. Thunder shook his head then patted the mans head gently.. "This is my horse Thunder," Lacey felt like her voice had a strong accent. She didn't really like using Common but it's better off or the man might not said said the right think to the other men and he would have started a fight, but thinks happen for a reason like her mother would always say.

OOC: I'm sorry for the long wait. Life got in the way for a little while, and I was super busy.

This woman was teasing him. This thought immediately came to his mind. He found the attempt amusing and his uncomfortable postured relaxed visably, especially now he spoke a language that he was comfortable with. He just raised his eyebrows at her comment "Someone's Child, huh? I don't think they let children carry around sharp things, girlie" He said, grinning almost childishly at her, and tapping the blade at his hip "I'm Syren. Pleasure to make your acquaintance Lacey" It was such a soft and pretty name. Something that did not go well with her teasing attitude right now.

Or her fearsome horse for that matter. Thunder. A beautiful horse. Very unique as well "'Ello Thunder." He said directing his smile to the horse. Then Back to Lacey he said "He looks like a very fine horse. I Suppose you are a pretty good rider then?" He chuckled "You'd run circles around me, I've never even risen a horse."

OOC: It's all good!! I was gone for a little while to!

She like his sense of humor, most would have been rude or walk away form comments and jokes like that. "Yes I'm pretty gut at riding him," she wasn't sure if it was pronounced good or gut in common, but she just continued. "Syren... It's a strange name but I like it! where are you frum?" She patted Thunders side and let him go grazing in the short grass. She was tired but excited to meet new people and races. She shifted her weight one side and brushed her hair back. Her accent was really strong now after she spoke,I need to try to speak common more often... but it was hard because her family can't speak it she only learned how was a friend of hers... But he's dead now do to an attack some years back. Not sure either what it was.
