Spring 513 AV, 63rd day
Sea sickness, what a horrible feeling, Ruza did everything she could not to regurgitate her food for her cat to eat. She wouldn't put it past Boyga to get excited over vomit, that cat ate the weirdest things, he was almost just like a small dog. What a way to start the day, Ruza sat pretty close to the docks, trying to gather herself so she could get started on the hunt for her brother. Ruza and her animal companions navigated themselves to the clearest area just far enough from the traffic of people coming and going, carrying heavy objects or what have you. Ruza thought it was best to take a quick break upon the sidelines before entering the city and figuring out where she should take her horse to be boarded for a few days while she is here.
There had been a chill in the air cause by the overcasting clouds, pregnant with rain and loud thunder can be heard off in the distance. Maybe Ruza will have the comfort of the rain pretty soon, although it might be a little cold to dance in the rain now. Before she could stop wondering if it was going to rain or not, a light drizzle delicately sprayed upon all those who were exposed. Some picked up the pace and began rushing about trying to escape the inevitability of getting wet. Ruza, instead of attempting to rush to the nearest dry spot, she removed her cloak, neatly folded it up, and placed it into her horse's inventory. Boyga sits on top of Tako unphased by the rain, instead began to clean himself furiously as the rain began to wet his fur.
"Thanks for holding this for me Tako!" she praised as she head bumps him affectionately. Tako returned her affections by rubbing his head against hers, with a smile she pulls away, patting him lightly on the nose before turning and raising her palms to the sky she allows the rain to fall upon her, watching as large drops forming in her palms before slapping her hands together with a serious look. "Great, now I'm wet." she said aloud to herself as she sighed. Her seasickness was better at least. "The healing nectar of the sky has once again cured me!" she proclaimed in a louder voice, raising her fist into the air with such enthusiastic energy "Ha-HA!" she proclaimed as she shook it lazily.
"Welp, time to get in there I suppose, gotta make money somehow!" she said cheerfully, clearly feeling better. She then began to calmly stroll into the town, getting more and more wet as she went, yet had not given a single thought to how she was going to dry off, where she was going to stay, or where she would start looking. Tako following close behind with a slightly agitated Boyga sitting atop his back. She wondered aimlessly into the town relying only on where her feet took her.
