16th of Spring, 513AV, Midday
Klaus began with the first circle. He drew it slowly, so as not to make any mistakes, in the middle of his living area. After a brief, yet detailed inspection, Klaus started on the next circle. This one was a tad bit trickier than the first. He started on the wall, drawing up the side. Then he turned carefully around the corner of his front door. He opened the door wide so he could finish drawing on the top of the doorway and around, outside of the apartment.
Klaus was quite aware of the odd looks he was recieving, but he paid no mind. He was doing what he loved, and that was all that mattered. He fished the part of the circle on the outside wall when a Knight aproached him. The man was only slightly taller than himself, but he grabbed him by the collar in a vice that told Klaus this man was far stronger than he looked.
"What are you doing, Wizard!" the Knight bellowed above the hustle and bustle of the city.
"A simple renovation of my home, Ser Knight," he began, "A security measure is all, I swear it." His voice was somewhat shaken, but that was to be expected. Klaus was not a confrontational man by far.
"Explain. Now." The Knights voice was no longer aggressive, so obviously Klaus had said something right. So he continued to explain in boring detail of his intenions. He explained the Animation Circle he was drawing and how it worked. Then he told the Knight that his only objective was to animate the door on his home. To make it so the door would only open for him.
"So you see, Ser Knight. A simple, nonviolent, nondangerous animation of a simple wooden door. Nothin' wrong with that I hope?"
