The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

Far up into the winding warrens of the Misty Peaks, where ditches suddenly appear beneath your feet and great crags of rocks overhang great caverns and drops, there lies a single grove of ancient cracked trees. Barely known to any but the very bravest of adventurers, this grove lies on the very tip of a peak, just before the Misty Peaks turns into the terrifying and strange wilderness that is the Unforgiving. Even in the winter, this grove of trees survives, defying all laws of growth and survival. Their bark is cracked and carved, their trunks winding and curving into the sky, reaching their leaves towards Zintila's realm. This is the Wanamu Grove.

The Wanamu tree has been fabled by storytellers and the fallen Ethaefal that wander sadly through the streets of Lhavit, a tree that has the power to hold sway over man, a tree that can reach into our very souls and change our nature. They were said to be a bygone relic from before the Valterrian, long gone and destroyed: but this is not the case. In the Misty Peaks, where anyone without the proper expertise and ability dare not venture, there lies fourteen of the Wanamu trees, clustered together as if seeking friendship and bonding. The grove is small and homely, the ground covered with fallen crunched leaves. The wind whistles through the trees quietly, a constant comfort. Barely anyone has passed through this grove, but those that make it all the way out here will not forget it.

One Wanamu tree by itself will lessen the weariness of the traveller, and lift his spirits, but the fourteen trees together in the Wanamu Grove can completely rejuvenate a traveller immediately: as if he has just woken up fresh even after a full day's march through the mountains of the Peaks. Awake and refreshed, the traveller views the world and his situation with much more hope and optimism. Having passed through many dangers to reach the grove, the trees will reward the individual with a fresh outlook and a sense of utter contentment.

It can be dangerous, though. Not only to travel there, and undoubtedly that is a large proportion of the danger, but simply in that one who has moved from utter despair to an all-consuming contentment might be loathe to leave, ever.

Mod note: This location is open to roleplay and does not require a moderator. However, be aware that it is extremely dangerous to travel this far out, and a moderator will intervene if you are seen roleplaying here without the proper skillset to have made it.
