oocThanks so much for the thread, it was fun!
Something had altered there, something no words that Tinnok would utter could change. Yet with the simplest of things she realized they shared something more important than their strange heritage: Magic.
What surprised her the most was not the laugh, nor the nearly kind words...but the stark demand. Tinnok could almost smile if she wasn't so Gods be damned exhausted. So she was more a teacher than she let on...and did wish to moniter her only pupil...if Tinnok could be called that.
At a slower pace than Asheera, Tinnok rose from the earth, shakily turning herself upright. She gave a nod that said she would obey the half breed's command, and...just to see that apathetic face fully return, gave a sardonic salute, wondering if that strange twitch of the eyes was like he Sorceress rolling them.
With that she turned. It would take her bells to return to her camp, but this woman's hut was not so far out that she couldn't find it again...even if she still didn't know precisely...where it was.
She plodded along slowly, refusing to look back, eyes still focused upn her hand. She dared not try it again, summoning the magical substance that transformed into her element...water. It seemed fitting. She had always been forced to move like water around all the obstacles in her life, constantly shifting, changing. How apt that it awaken inside her as a first element.
She curled her fist, body crouching, feet returning to a ponderous, but much more silent step as she began her long journey back...in the morning, it would be time to try her power out again...
